first woman died overdosed on heroin. she was an heroin addict not meth. we learned about her heroin addiction and her pictures were passed around between groups during the meetings when i was in a rehab for heroin. one of the counselors personally knew her since the 80's. Few people understand how stimulants work. What they do is cause your adrenalin glands to dump adrenalin into the bloodstream, and that's what you feel high on. However if you continue to do this it ages the body at an accelerated rate. Looking at this video is a clear demonstration of that process.

(resentful) Instead of peeking through the blinds I pray to God & forgive whoever I'm paranoid about. it makes it ok. That's why people take drugs; we're making it ok. I've made two friends in AA since I went back, I can talk about meth because I'm 27 months sober. But in the long nights I need something. I've been trying prayer.
I was 23 months & 21 days clean. I relapsed on meth 4 months ago. I don't shoot up everyday, but I can't stop. I've lost all my friends & my life is falling apart. No more rehab. 10 years in & out is enough. I can't function with it without it, I guess there's no hope for me.

first woman died overdosed on heroin. she was an heroin addict not meth. we learned about her heroin addiction and her pictures were passed around between groups during the meetings when i was in a rehab for heroin. one of the counselors personally knew her since the 80's. May she rest in peace for once. Drug Addiction is a Disease. I too am a recovering addict. It's very much a disease, and this is coming from a non-addict. The brain is a tricky organ. Try paying attention in your 6th grade health class next time, won't you? Few people understand how stimulants work. What they do is cause your adrenalin glands to dump adrenalin into the bloodstream, and that's what you feel high on. This is so fucking wierd, even crack doesnt have such drastic changes to people faces, why do they smoke that shit, just do crack if they have to do a drug. People smoke meth bc it is cheaper and you can stay up for longer so you can theoretically work longer hours and make more money. Prescription drugs like thyroxine also age you as all your cells are speeded up. Look at BKS Iyengar's skin- shiny like a baby, someone who wants to hang out all hours and not eat nutritious food, just dried up and ugly. Sad, simple, harsh, true.

I suppose it makes sense, that its all about cells being speeded up, and since meths high lasts so long compared to crack i can now understand why meth addicts age so fast compared to crack users, its simple case of they were able to do more drug with meth compared to crack.

Stimulants stress your body, you need to come down, have harmony, relax, get some peace in your life. (resentful) Instead of peeking through the blinds I pray to God & forgive whoever I'm paranoid about. it makes it ok. That's why people take drugs; we're making it ok. I've made two friends in AA since I went back, I can talk about meth because I'm 27 months sober. But in the long nights I need something. I've been trying prayer.

I was 23 months & 21 days clean. I relapsed on meth 4 months ago. I don't shoot up everyday, but I can't stop. I've lost all my friends & my life is falling apart. No more rehab. 10 years in & out is enough. I can't function with it without it, I guess there's no hope for me.

That's why it's so important to heal, so you can feel good inside with craving for a drug to pep you up. If a dealer had approached me at my low times in life, I would be addicted too, no one is above it and that's why we can't judge. Police or dealers can't use people who have friends who say No! don't do it. They prey on the vulnerable like banks do.

No, it was just straight out cold exploitation, even some educational text would be better than just putting the photos for everyone to judge, they need chicken soup, a hello, a warm blanket, access to the kids they've lost, health care, have a heart!
