I love what you make for toddlers and babies. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and started crocheting 10 days ago. Your videos are very helpful. Keep up the good work. :-)

Teresa, I love this project!! my 13 month old baby boy had a blast "helping" me make his hat. he loves playing with the ear flaps. they provide hours of entertainment for him :) Thanks for this!!!
@SEXYPHILLYMOM40 Those critter hats are selling in the stores are for around $20.00 a hat to start and look very cheaply made. If you have your receipt, then the hats back
What crochet hook types do you recommend? I am not a beginner but have always bought the boye crochet hooks because they are cheapest. I also have some susan bates ones too. Which type of hook do you prefer?
@AlohaCow I have been using Boye crochet hooks for over 28 years and use them in my videos. I am not fond of the SB brand because the hook pulls in to tight and gets caught in the yarn fibers.
You are always coming up with the best ideas, at just the right times! Thank you so very much for this sweet pattern. I just finish this precious little cap for my granddaughter! It worked up just beautiful! Thank you for the great instructions, and please keep the videos coming! :)

The stitch you used for the edge of the ears we call it in the Netherlands the Krabsteek of in Englisch Crabstitch.
