I once went on a weekend trip to Goma with Sam. We ran into 10 Congolese soldiers. When they wanted to kidnap us for ransom, Sam challenged the leader to a drinking contest. After the leader was dragged off to the hospital unconscious, he challenged the next in command. After drinking 5 soldiers unconscious, the rest ran away.

We sat there for a year and a half and sure enough someone constructs a bar around us. The day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Dargan yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found em!'"
Just to let you fellows know, Sam Dargan once tried to surf a food service cart, ate gravel, and ended up with a torn acl. I would get some life insurance on him asap! Very jealous of the moto polo.
