You know that you have put up evidence against yourself. Casino is against the Terms of Agreement. if a GM see this he can give you a permanent bann, and you have nothing to say cuz they hae all the evidence they need.

@TemptfateEU First of all, Blizzard doesn't check out youtube for evidence of people violating the terms of use. Second, permanent ban is only for very serious/repetative violations. Third of all, as you can see in the description and my other comments, running a casino no longer violates the terms.

It just gives you a 3hour ban the first time tho.

But if you continue doing that you will get longer or even a permanent ban.

Done the same trick, still own the money i've earned with it for a 3 hour ban.

I haven't been banned myself since that article has been uploaded, and I do advertise in /s.

You could name your char "*somthing casino*" and make a guild something like "whisper for info" or somthing and /dance somewhere obvious and anyone that is interested should come to you and ask rather than you having to talk in public channels

@daramaki1 Actually I'm quite sure /y and /s are considered public channels as well. However, I do mostly advertise with /s, not too often, and I didn't get banned since the new policy. I would watch out with yelling, because that annoys people faster making them report you.

@omgwow83 Open up WoW. Go to the little "?" on the bottom bar, go to "ALL" and then go down to #20. If you read there it clearly states that casinos are NOT ILLEGAL as long as you DO NOT advertise in PUBLIC channels. You can say w/e you want in party, raid, guild etc..but trade chat, general, /say /yell etc.. are all out of bounds.

well i done this made 30k gold gave gold to an alt and a week later i had a letter from blizzard in my mailbox that said i will be banned.i never was banned and i kept the money although make it simple and just give them double the money if they get higher than 65.......u will win every time :P

@HeadshotSim I actually was going to quote the Blizzard Terms of Use, where it specifically listed ''casinos'' as a form of scamming. However, since 4.3, theres apperantly a change to the terms of use (together with a whole new Battle.net support site). It seems that it now is actually a legit thing to do, however advertising for it in public channels is still prohibited. Perhaps Blizzard got tired of banning me so often and realized that there wasnt much harm in what i was doing ;)

@GuitarHeroMaster9786 Well I've never used trade chat and been banned 5 times.. only sometimes I would set my addon to broadcast the bets in /s, which helped me get more customers, but that might also be the reason I got banned. However, it's not like it's excessive language or something (for which you can only get banned in public channels). It's considered scamming. I think that even if you do it in private channels only, if people report you, I think you still risk getting banned.
