Was reading the heavy load book and notes from the compilation album and this song was recorded in 1970 on the exact day I was born.Cool thing is this is my fav. free song.
Free were the band that shouldve been! Kusoff was easily one of the best guitarists or his era , and Paul could wail all day, not to mention the rhythm section, which was tight as hell, it's so sad kusoffs death cut them short, sure Paul wrote some good stuff with bad company, but who's to say he wouldn't have written those songs with free had kursoff lived , R.I.P. kursoff: the most underrated rock guitarist ever !
I love the solo, so expressive and how it moves from major to minor. Kossoff's guitar has the quality of a cello in this section. Brilliant group and timeless music.
