A running joke? Pete sure didn't sound amused . Pete is a talker and always has good insight and memories. There is always some schmuck who thinks it's humorous to interupt him with that line. OUR LOSS. If you don't want to hear Pete; stay home. He can talk all he wants as far as I'm concerned.
Eu não sabia que O Capaldi era tão conhecido no mundo. Nós do Brasil, mais precisamente do Rio, sempre encontrávamos com este cara e ninguém dava bola... Estava aqui largadão...
I dont know that Capaldi was so famous in the world. We from Brasil always find him at night...
Jim used to go out with a neighbors daughter when he was about 16 and used to around to my house what a nice guy he was , his brother Philip used to play with him too , he worked as an engineer at Heenan and Froude in Worcester then was in a group called the hellions before he joined with steve winwood in Traffic RIP Jim
agreed, why be disappointed because his solo work doesn't sound like The Who? Of course it doesn't, nor should it. But unllike so many of his peers, Mr. Townshend has never sold out!
Pete did well not to lose his cool - there's always one or two who don't have the brains they were born with - thankfully the attention is on Pete who played a fantastic cover of a great song, Jim played in a wicked band and even his solo work was respectable.
These are the performances I'm glad Pete's still around for. Not the upteenth playing of My Generation or Won't get Fooled again... these rare moments of beauty when he just hits it.

Agreed, however I think this is his Guild F-512-NT 12 string in this tune.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Number 1 on my second string of guitar players.
Needs Keith Moon, Roger Daltry and John Entwistle to make him whole.
Could never make it solo could he?
Borninuk52 3 years ago
Obviously not, made music that was as good and better than "The Who" but ´then again every record was nothing but Townshend project...

Traffic is among the bands with excellent musicians and a very classy (don't like this word much, but...)production.
I met Capaldi in Brazil a couple of times, and he was a very nice guy, believe me. He desrves this tribute, believe me.
Regards from Brazil.
