The NAACP in 1905 had a different aim than the NAACP that existed after 1905. It's a big topic to research and I wish the reward of that research was much more than grades. That would give me a great motivation to expand my research through primary documents. So far my stand firm with my conclusion that the NAACP has changed a lot, but I don't know why.

Having gone to college in charleston for 4 years, I know that blacks and white hold a lot of anger and resentment towards eachother. When you volunteer at one school downtown and see one set of kids with new books and top of the line equipment and another on the otherside of town that still uses an 80's apple computer and programs on those 51/2 in floppies, something is wrong. The whole county is hypocritical. Historical, beautiful, but needs improvement in race relations.

Well, since slavery was government-sponsored, simply having the government give money to black people could work.

Someone is likely to post a few other problems that would come from such a programme, but again, excuses. There are plenty of necessary government actions that have problems with them. By default, the government is composed of humans who err, hence there will be faults in it, and there are plenty.
