Many people who consider themselves homosexual or "gay" choose to build their identity around that particular behavior, that one aspect of their lives.

They confuse their sexual behavior with their sense of self, so that if anyone disapproves of their behavior (homosexuality) then it's seen as a personal attack.

A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality.

I am a Christian and I agree that there is much hate between Christians and non-believers. I am telling you, my brothers, that this shouldnt be. Its sad to say it but many Christians have strayed away from Gods true intentions. God doesnt want us to kill gays or abortion doctors- NO! The people that have been convicted of this have clearly misunderstood the scriptures. What God is saying is that the Christian people should put to death the sin, not the person with it, by exposing the Gospel.

Hi, I'm a mormon by faith and I have a few friends who are gay. I see Christianity as a guide back to heaven, not something to justify selfish intentions. We all sin, but it's a matter of a willingness to atone for those sins that saves us. I have talked with all my gay friends and we have come to the conclusion that they chose to be gay. As it is you can also choose to stop, but it is not my place to force you. After all, that is why we are here, to make choices and to live with them.

I go to a bible club at school and I'm not christan at all so it's kinda funny really. I like to ask all kinds of questions, and I end up stumping the preacher everyday on his own religion and confusing himself. That is whats interesting about the book and it's sequel... Its hard to explain without going into massive detail... But I can honestly say it's one of the best books Ive read in a long time, and it does have a fair bit of action/adventure while getting pretty philosophical.

If there is ever a point where you can say "Well this one here doesn't seem right, this must not actually be true", then all of them must be held as suspect. Either the bible is the infallible word of god or it is not. If it is not, then each person is able to decide which is truly god's word, and which were simply written by men for their own reasons.

It is not the small, on the ground Christians who are the perpetrators of such hate; my RS teacher is the most tolerant and amazing human being I have ever had the fortune to come across. These people warp the true message of Jesus, which was faith and love. I know many wonderful Christians, but until there is open condemnation of this behaviour from the main Church I shall continue to follow my own beliefs. I have thought hard before giving you feedback. I understand how you think Insanity could be about homosexual persecution, and in a narrow sense, you could be right. But it's wider than that. This song, as is most of Boingo's music, is about not fitting in, not being part of the flock. I applaud you for finding meaning and hopefully comfort from this song. Non descrimination laws have been used to protect the rights of blacks, gays, sex, and nationalities, but all of those are not a view, it's a state of being, while marriage is a social behavior, wither same sex or not. Putting that inot law would be the same as putting christian laws into federal law under the same pretext, which on your side of the arguement is wrong.
