  • Great video my friend, a fitting tribute. Can you tell me the jazz tune that starts around the 1:30 mark?

  • 1:47 He looks just as dangerous backing up as he does moving forward

  • Could anyone have forseen that lamotta wouldbbe the last of his era still alive...? Never, w/w/ his lifestyle woulda figured that one, he's a decade older than my granddad!

  • jake was a badass...

    he had underrated skills too...

his trouble with weight affected some of his preformances and i think it tarnished his legacy a little

  • the "iron chin"!! maybe hollyfield can take a lot of punche also, but nothing like lamotta!

  • @420League

Chuvalo, Robinson and Hagler had pretty solid beards too.

  • before my time yet i see a legend thank you for putting this up and thank you Jake Lamotta, damn what a hard man.

  • The sheer speed coupled with the power behind each punch... Such a wild boxer. A wild stance. Head always low relentlessly going after his opponent without ANY fear, taking a punch better than any other boxer before him or after, he doesn't let it phase him and STILL manages to KICK ASS. Amazing. This toast is to you Jake. So fierce.

  • Today's boxing is a sport, back then it was a massacre

  • @charlsssoooo It's the weakest talent pool boxing has ever had. It was a sport before it was an embarrassment now. Floyd Gayweather and Manny Hackquiao better fight or the sport will be lost. Everyone decent runs away from each other now. Khan can't get Bradley to fight him, the heavyweight division is a disgrace with all the good athletes playing pro football and basketball instead, and the only real fighters are down around featherweight. No one seems to care about featherweights these days.

  • LaMotta would eat MMA fighters for lunch.

  • in 8:00 lamotta gives some hand gernades lol

  • Just watched Raging Bull last night and its an amazing movie. The partnership of Scorsese, DeNiro and Pesci is almost as powerful as LaMotta

  • underrated fuckin defense. He slipped punches in his sleep.

  • underrated fuckin defense. He slipped punches in his sleep.

  • who's that guy jake lamatta killed during boxing?

  • @BLOODYBOY569 i never heard of him killing anyone in boxing, you sure your not thinking of max baer?

  • @BLOODYBOY569 it was sugar ray robinson who killed someone watch his brightlights documentary.ray had dreamed he killed him and no one listened so they mad him fight and ray does what he said he did in his dream

  • Thanks for putting this up. I've never seen 'that' footage of Cerdan and La Motta (seen the usual)! Great stuff!

  • Check out this great boxer out of Philadelphia type in Anthony abbruzzese an another fight type Celebrity Boxing Anthony

  • lamotta only ever had one knockdown in his whole career! say what you want about his terrible behavior outside the ring, but the guy was one of the toughest and best boxers ever

  • last round....u have given your all.....but jake comes back that much power and energy.....he is not human...he is an immortal boxer

  • Nasty body shots

  • wow, i love the movie raging bull. but to see him fight in real footage was great. i cant believe how this man could with stand all these punches and out of no where BANG!! all this energy and just knocks ppl out lol.

  • @xcentrik12 His rolling with the large majority of them. Jake Lamotta had very uderated defensive skills as shown in the video and an uncanny ability to roll with punches and lesson the sting in them. That combined with a great chin is what allowed him to do what he did.

  • the name of the song that starts at 1,13?

  • Cavalleria Rusticana - Intermezzo

    Composed by Pietro Mascagni

  • That's Entertainment!!!!

  • No other boxer in history could take a punch like Jake.

  • @FlashWeiner Micky Ward

  • @FlashWeiner best chin ever!!

  • @FlashWeiner chuvalo?

  • nice with the song
