i enjoy the new Jacques Lu Cont remix of Even Better Than The Real Thing, but when you think about it, (and while dated) for the time, this was much more radical of a remix.. for a rock band to commission a dance remix

I was a DJ back in the 90's,('Five Star Mobile Disco' based in Nottingham if anyone remembers!)

I still remember to this day the very first time i ever played this at a 21st birthday party at the Sportsman in Long Eaton,this had only just come out to us DJ's so very few of the general public had ever heard it.

The dancefloor suddenly doubled in size with bodies & I lost count how many people came up to me and said 'fucking brilliant mate'!

What a buzz that was!

Remember this being played by John Digweed (I think) on Brighton beach at the free party in 06. They thought maybe 200,000 people would turn up but instead nearly 2 million turned up! It was carnage. Still I managed to get to within 20ft of the stage. I remember everyone having a smile on their face when this was played while we all bounced around. Happy memories!
