This is really awesome. I've started using ZBrush3 myself about a month ago and I am now working on a dragon myself, but I can't figure out how you were able to add so much color to yours? I would greatly appreciate it if you would explain how you were able to accomplish that.

An OBJ file is the 3D model itself, not a movie that you could post to YouTube. You have to export the turntable movie either to a video or image sequence, then convert it to a format that you can upload to YouTube.

Of course they can since they are fictitious creatures, they can do whatever you want them to do. However if you really were studying dragons for 14 years as you claim, then you would know there are hundreds of different types of dragons from almost every culture on the planet. And you would know that hydrogen is only one explanation for their power of flight.

I like to study the anatomy of real creatures when creating my own. There are certain physical rules that must be followed at least loosely for any fictitious creature to be believable. For a dragon to be able to fly without the aid of magic or some other phenomenon, they would need incredibly large wings and a muscle and bone structure capable of supporting them. That is why my dragon's wings are so large.

Not if he wants to lift off the ground with them. The dragon's wings on your channel are WAY too small. Those scrawny wing limbs would never get that dragon airborne. Except maybe because yours is a cartoon. Mine is not.

I don't have DAZ anyway, but my dragon is more muscular :-) I don't like to vary it up too much, then it is no longer a dragon. I have always liked Todd Lockwood's dragons though, and if you search him on google or something you will see that I got a lot of ideas from his dragon's anatomy. Check his paintings out, they are bad ass.

ZBRUSH is a sculpting program. With it you can take 3D models and sculpt them like there was made of clay. It is possible to make awsome models with it :D

The interface is a little awkward at first, but once you get past that, it is pretty straight forward. I think you can download a demo for free, and there are a bunch of tutorials that you can find online to help you out. Good luck!

That is what is so great about ZBrush! It is like sculpting but on the computer. And, you can 'undo'! It works best with a Wacom tablet or Cintique monitor, but even just a mouse is cool.
