nice job. i share some of your phrasing and fingerstyles when i play this song. but i'm going to incorpate/steal some of your ideas to enhance my version. hope you don't mind.
Hey brother, you got the 60's spirit inside you, good job, is a nice song, one of my favorites. Congratulations, please, do you want to be my teacher?
HI! I've just seen "you like me too much" and wrote you sth, this is the second video I see and I have to ask you: Are you the 5th. beatle? I'll continuo watching more videos: Thanks again.
What a great version, each detail is playing with your strings. Don't need a band. If you have some you must named details on strings or something like that. Thanks a lot for sahring
Beautiful work. When I first heard this song (when it was originally released), I was angry about the dissonance. Why did the Beatles intentionally irritate the listeners? In fact, they expanded our horizons.
He's referring to the clash of notes that are present in the song. They're the notes that make you think "Ooh, that sounds wrong." The point he was trying to make is that by making that dissonance, they have added to the musicality of the piece, something composers have been doing for ages.
Well, especially since the early 20th century. Prior to that, composers mostly tried to avoid dissonance. Each generation of composers was more dissonant than the one that preceded it. Believe it or not, in Medieval times, a major third was considered dissonant, and certain intervals like the augmented fourth and major second were avoided altogether. Music has come a long way in the past several hundred years.
if you had been playing for the beatles this song backstage at a concert that i was at i wouldn't be able to tell you apart from george a job well done
Eres grande amigo, también vi tu interpretación de "you never give me your money" Me gustaría saber si compras las partituras, si es así dónde; o eres tú quien hace los arreglos.
I love george's song when in Beatles...also the solo things, really love him. Your version is very nice, your crescendo was so expressive! I'm already a fan of you.
Tclef. I play for a living and do solo guitar gigs. Your playing is really fine and I appreciate you sharing these. I have learned from watching you play and really like your style.
Very good. I used to play the into like you when I was a kid, but when I got older I heard it correctly. Instead of open G to D, F# to D, play the G forth string 5th fret and pull off to the open D. Same with the F#, forth string 4th fret and pull off to open D. I know it's a very subtle difference, but that's what The Beatles were all about.
That is really lovelly - nice one. Have you thought of adapting "If I Fell" another Beatles track, which my mother maintains is her favourite beatles song as she was in the front row of a concert in the mid sixties in Liverpool and she swears John Lennon sang it whist looking at her...LOL
Yet another brilliant rendition of a great song. How about your own web site? Or that CD we all crave? Meanwhile may I humbly suggest Run of the Mill from George's All Things Must Pass (or any other track for that matter)? I'm with you tipperary1, glass or two of vino and a glug of musical finesse. Aaaaah.
I've got a so-so version of that. I recently picked up the Beatles Complete Scores, so now i can check my harmonies. and that's a piece that definitely needs some tweaking. thanks!
