I don't know why everyone is complaining about this device. I think it's great! I like the idea of not using UMD's. That way everything stays together. If your system if stolen, well that'll suck then. But I see no problems with this device. And for all of you complaining about this device and making a big deal about how the PS Vita (yes that's what it's called, you can stop saying "PSP2") has dual analogs for shooters,just get a PS3. This is a great device for entertainment. Not hardcore games.

@danielcooler10 3DS, could hurt your eyes (but you can adjust it). iPod Touch, is pretty good, if you would facetime, listen to music, play games. And Psp go is very good too. I would go for the PSP GO because it's cheaper and you can buy your games online and its amazing.

Well, if your going to use it for CFW, then it's best to go with the go. A PSPgo technically can't be hacked, but if you put a program called TN-HEN in the "Game" folder and run it, it will add on to the current firmware you have and allow you to play homebrew from the XBM. Then if you add a program called OpenIdea ISO Loader, it'll allow you play ISOs straight from the XBM as well, as long you have the ISO on your Internal Memory/M2 Card. The PSPgo comes with 16GB too, so get it.

Both colors of the device are good but the piano black gets too much fingerprints and smudges and the white can later get the anolog stick dirty if you don't clean it. But it's a great piece of hardware itself.

@CornyTelecaster49 the psp 1000 2000 and 3000 models have larger screens, the 2000 has far better battery life, the 1000 has better then 3000 and the psp go, and the psp go is very very homebrew limited.

You can hack psp's to use homebrew and you CAN pirate games but you don't have to. you can just use homebrew and buy games to support the companies.

Which is why it is important to actually buy games, but again as i said just because you hack doesn't mean you can't buy.

In fact there is homebrew to rip games from your UMD into an iso image.

So you can go buy a UMD from the store and then rip it onto your memory card, or just buy it from the PSN store.

@CornyTelecaster49 Anyway just in case i wasn't clear people don't like the Go Because the psp 1000 and 2000 series have better battery life then either of them. The analog stick is put in a really awkward position as everyone says, and the slide option is really worrisome.

But the New PSP2 is coming out soon and it will be using the Old psp 1000 design.

It will have a 4 core processor and is coming with 2 analog sticks for shooters (thank gawd)

But again the thing that makes psp's so awesome is the Homebrew and the modding, which is why the 1 2 and 3 thousand series are better then the go.

Technically you can hack a go, but it is very limited and we do not publicize how to hack it for we want to be able to hack the NGP :3

Returned mine. I didn't like it for a few reasons.

1- Battery runs out pretty fast.

2- All games have to be downloaded for max price & i couldn't play my UMD's.

3- 16gb is fair but ipod touch has more.

4- Sound isn't so loud.

5- Does not have many features like the ipod does except remote play.

Note that im not some apple fanboy, I have owned all PS consoles and have a PSP slim and have to say PSP go was terrible.

Left = L2

Right = R2

Up = L2 + R2

PS. I recommend you not to use the PS3 Controller you usually use for your PS3, as you will have to register it as a Bluetooth device every time you switch between PS3 and PSP

Controller:

4. Connect the PSP & controller to your PS3
