  • Lunatic FTW!

  • I like this video show lots of insight of some of the things I would like to point out about the bible. should work on Koran version ^^ etc.

  • I AM therefore I think...

  • Why if you are a deist would you want or expect a relationship with god?

  • @OWC2000 A Deist is a person who believes in God so why wouldn't a Deist want some kind of relationship? Whether you think of this Force God in Atheistical terms,or Theistical, you can't help but to have some kind of relationship.

  • @DeistReality Because a deist does not believe in a personal god or one that interferes with earthly matters. So what kind of relationship can you have when you live 14.7 billion years apart?

  • @OWC2000 Who told you that a Deist doesn't believe in a personal God? Life,Nature, the Universe, the Creation is constantly revealing new truth. Life is constantly changing. Although we play a very small part in changing the life that surrounds us it is God that governs and regulates the whole 24/7. It is this Force God that makes all things just so.

Where does all the knowledge in the world come from? Life is still being created, life is continually being sustained so God hasn't gone anywhere?

  • @DeistReality The dictionary definition of a deist excludes a personal god or one that interferes with the world.

    Knowledge comes from evolved minds.

  • @OWC2000

    "Knowledge comes from evolved minds."

Evolved minds didn't get that way by magic. They evolved by contemplating the life that surrounds us. Life that you and I didn't create.

Know that I get my definition of who,or what a Deist is from Thomas Paine and not from some Atheist like Noah Webster who denied the true revelations found in nature. A person who took mans word over God's true word found in Life making him a Atheist in the true sense of the word.

  • @DeistReality Not magic, chemical reactions and adaptation to ones natural surroundings.

So where does a deist find the true word of god, if from nature what form do these words take?

  • @OWC2000 My friend go to the conclusion of the pamphlet the Age of Reason by Thomas Paine for this answer as its a very good question that requires more space, more conversation then 500 characters.

I feel Mr Paine answers this thought on many levels if one is willing to open their mind to the truths that he speaks.

If you feel that your question is not answered then please get back to me on it as again its a valid question that can be answered.

  • @DeistReality Thanks, I was just reading about this. Take Care.
