  • This is touching. Thank you for posting this. Let us never forget.

  • May all those people who fought for and died for us rest in peace. I hope there will never be another great war....

  • If in some smothering dreams you too could pace,

Behind the wagon we flung him in,

If you could see the white eyes writhing in his face,

His hanging face, like a devil sick of sin,

My friend, you would not say with such high zest,

To children ardent for some desperate glory,

    The old lie,

Dulce et decorum est, pro patria mori

    When patriotism dies, war dies.

  • for my mens choir we r singing this!

  • Wonderful.

These are the Canadians that gave birth to Canada

  • If in some smothering dreams you too could pace,

Behind the wagon we flung him in,

If you could see the white eyes writhing in his face,

His hanging face, like a devil sick of sin,

My friend, you would not say with such high zest,

To children ardent for some desperate glory,

    The old lie,

Dulce et decorum est, pro patria mori

  • When you go home, tell them of us

    And say

That for your tomorrow, we gave our today

    They suffered all

    Sacrificed all

    Dared all

    and died

    Lest we forget
