It's a freeware for non web content until now at least but on the web . (youtube) it locks after a period of time! It won't download anything!!! Be aware!

@animeninja2 you have to download youtube downloader first,,,then download ur selected videos from u tube to your pc (i suggest u create a new folder for easy acces ) so that ur you tube video will be saved in your pc...to convert this selected video...you run ANY VIDEO CONVERTER then select your video from the folder which you have saved it in your pc....then it will work like a charm

@leopardhunter99 It could be something wrong with the file you are converting. or you could try running it in safe mode, there could be another program conflicting.

@tails3344 Sorry about that. Flip footage needs to be converted to MPEG2 keep the resolution as (original) to keep it whatever the orginal footage is,

because, i got this new samsung flash cam and i did a vid for it but when i try to edit it goes straight to quicktime and i need it to go to windows movie maker so i can delete certain parts and add certain parts such as pics,intros, and music.

@BetaFlux ok i finally figured it out, i have 3 user profiles, my profile, my bros and my moms and it turns out that my mom is the head of all profiles so the converter would only work under her name. so if anyone has a similar problem just tellem to tryout all there user profiles. thanx for helping me out and yes this program definately works! - LiL' A+ -

i use this also, my videos don't have preview thumbnails though, i see yours does, is that because all your videos are .wmv? maybe other formats don't preview thumbnails, i don't know.

question dude u might have answered this in the video and i just didnt pay attention lol but can it convert a h.264 or w/e coded video to a windows movie maker capable file without loss of quailty??cause right now i was using winff to convert my .movs and they lost alot of quality is there a setting i could use on this so i could still edit in windows movie maker and have a wmv file but it still be my 720p

@BetaFlux no problem i love your vids. but when i try to convert the AVCHD (.MTS) files to another format. the footage either unsyncs and becomes faster or slower? any suggestions? ive tried changing the frame rate and everything. also it causes movement in the video to be squiggly. thanks again!

you will find many tutorials for that.
