  • Me and my wife saw this movie together. She told me she didn't like it.

    She is now buried

  • This movie sucks so much, I will NEVER see what people give it so much credit for... It is about nothing. It has no characters, no plot, no fucking anything...

  • So at the end did he kill her? Why wasn't he carrying his gun when he left her house?

    .

  • @SomeLittleShoe he did kill her, when he leaves he checks his feet for blood.

  • @tash734

Did the Cohen brothers say he did? Why didn't he have his gun? Maybe she talked him out of it and he left the gun with her.

    .

Either way, the movie was disturbing.

  • If you like this movie read Cormac's Blood Meridian. It was generally regarded as crap when it was released in 1985, but it's his absolute masterstroke. They can never make a movie to justify the novel, it's so graphically violent and unremittingly lyrical it can't be brought to screen. So read it instead!

  • Fuck I love this movie.

  • 1 Word: Quality

  • steilo kantos thats what he looks like

  • Only movie I've seen 5 times in theaters. It takes its time, but never feels slow and never gets old.

  • Call it, friend-o.

  • The Coen Brothers are fuckin pros.

  • @BassHeadsProduction Yes they are

  • @Navarrolevel7

  • I watched the movie, I think this "old man" is poor.

All the character almost is old.

    .

  • @alienspace88 what?

  • Excellent movie deals with reall life that go is psycho very skilled pro

  • It wasn't good neither bad. Fifty-fifty. A little bit trivial, but the story is good just like the acting. However, the end was very lame.

  • @DanielVonPalota You're clearly not smart enough for it.

  • Possibly one of the most under appreciated Best Picture winners of all time.

  • I didn't understand this movie at all((( And I didn't like it((( The bad guy who killed everyone, escaped during the day... This movie is like put together piece by piece, to form a shapeless unity((( score 4 out of 10

  • @YetiDeti It's not what you think...the bad guy Chigur, his destiny leaves up for viewers. Either he died b/c of heavy bleeding of his broken arm or he somehow survived because he had money. How do you know if he had money? He gave that boy $100 bill for a shirt because in Mexico he didn't have money and had to make car explosion to steal some stuff from med store...This movie a bit complicated, a lot of details that had to be seen to understand.

  • that shuger should have his own movie

  • Brilliant movie, I loved it, the only thing I can say that I didn't like was the absence of music in the movie, and I know why they did it, but I still love music and think that it really brings a movie along in emotion

  • 1:32 crazy motherfucker

  • @bustedup it'll also take a badass to still be scary as fuck even when calling someone "friendo"

  • The BEST movie of all time. The atmosphere of the movie is just incredible

  • This is such a good movie.

  • Love the way he says "call it" at the and.

  • Me and my wife saw this movie together. She told me she didn't like it.

    We are now divorced.

  • @myles755 unoriginal

  • @LiberalJersey and dont ever forget it

  • @myles755 XD

  • Awesome movie. I wanna get the book.

  • This looks so shit , there is no story line here

  • @andreasswarfeld

It's a fucking trailer you dumbshit, it's not supposed to reveal the storyline.

  • @andreasswarfeld It won four Oscars.

  • This is the motherfucker of all trailers !

  • No Country for Oiled Men.

  • don't fuck with Mexicans

  • easily the best movie of the decade

  • This movie sucked ass

  • @navarrolevel7 At least put some effort into your trolling...

  • 1:03 BEST MOVIE LINE EVER!!!

  • STELIO KONTOS

  • I remember watching this movie one night after work when I was 16. I remember going to bed after watching it and almost being in shock. I was just lying in my bed thinking about how great of a movie I just watched and how lucky I was to see such a masterpiece. Few other movies have ever given me that feeling. It's almost like a drug because every time I watch a movie I hope it leaves me with that feeling that I felt the night after I watched No Country For Old Men.

  • @kornflowerblue yeah I had similar feelings about it. It was on my mind for ages. It made most movies I saw since then look bad, cos I guess I expect too much now. This movie was perfect. Great script, directing, acting, love the choice to have no music, it added suspense. Just WOW

  • @kornflowerblue i fucking know that feeling, after i watch a really good movie like for example No country for old men, Schindlers list, Shawshank Redemption, Fight club, i always have a hard time falling asleep cuz im just laying there thinking about the movie..

  • the movie was great, certenly one of the best iv seen in a long time

  • The movie stays close to the novel. But for some reason , the latter part of the novel drags a bit. One must admire Cormac for having come up with such a brilliant character like Anton ..

  • Oh my this was a GREAT! Movie I highly recommend this if your looking for a crime thriller movie.

  • What does the title mean?

  • @Addiskrilla 'No Country For Old Men' is aimed at one of the main characters Ed Tom Bells, a sheriff who is used to the old school style of policing. When this psychopathic killer comes along and starts shooting everybody in sight Ed Tom cannot keep up with the killings and starts to fall behind, this new crime wave is something he cannot keep up thus the title 'No Country For Old Men' (these words are also at the beginning of some old Irish poem, I forget the name)

  • i remember thinking to myself when i saw this trailer was that this guy looks like one creepy mutherfucker. there was something not quite right about him.

  • COULD PEOPLE NOT GIVE THE ENDING AWAY and think of people who have never seen the movie it,s not fair on them ty ZIP IT

  • if you've ever been spared by a man like Chigurh, hell that'd be the closest-to-death experience you'd ever get.

  • No Doorlocks for Old Men

  • @1Morey LOL

  • Ya'll think Anton is bad? Look up Judge Holden. I can't wait till they make "Blood Meridian."

  • classic. liked it more than traffic.

  • impressive

  • too bad I don't have Javier's haircut

  • The Coen Brothers know how to make a film so intense and so well done! Not since Alfred Hitchcock have I been SO terrified (the hotel scene)

The acting was so amazing!!! One of the best films I've ever seen!

  • One of the greatest films around with the greatest villain of all time.

  • Toss a Coen, and call it. I can't call it for you.

  • @WikiNixa I call Fargo

  • its on now on film 4 :D

  • 0:53 ... I lost my appetite

  • @adrianmrmonk 100 % right buddy, ♦ ♂♂ ♦ !

  • DEPUTY SAM GERARD IS BACK, BUT HE SHOULD HAVE DR. RICHARD KIMBLE ON HIS TEAM.

  • "How dangerous is he?"

"compared to what? the bubonic plauge?" hahaha

  • i didn't like this movie. remember, thats just how i feel about it. so don't hate.

  • The book is always better than the movie – except for perhaps No Country for Old Men.

  • "call it"

  • How in the hell did this movie get so many bad ratings on IMDB? This is one of the best movies EVER!!!!!!!!!

  • @silvergoldjewels It's in imbd's top 250, thats pretty good.

  • @silvergoldjewels

What? It has an 8,2 rating, it in the top 250.

  • @silvergoldjewels The only complaint that ive heard on this movie was the ending. an 8.2 avg on IMDB is an excellent rating.

  • @silvergoldjewels Because they hate the ending.

  • @silvergoldjewels Yeah, and it won best picture!

  • @silvergoldjewels Yeah, and it won best picture, and other oscars.

  • @silvergoldjewels doesnt matter, it got a 95 on RT which matters more

  • @silvergoldjewels dude wtf are you taking about it is number 5 on the most popular films of 2007, I UNDERSTND that that doesnt necesarily mean it has a high rating but it is at least akcnowledged as the most popular on the list, so they took in consideration the general view of the film, since lots of people liked it... so dont complain mam, imdb is not bad at all, I am actually gonna watch this movie now thanks to imdb dude

  • @silvergoldjewels is 8.2, bad?

  • @silvergoldjewels Probably because it doesn't have a happy ending. I loved it almost as much as the book.

  • @silvergoldjewels ????... Uh... it has 8.2/10 stars and is in the top 250

  • whats it rated?

  • @KatyKat1997 A for Amazing

  • @KatyKat1997 R ,excellent movie but very bloody, don't bother showing it to anyone under 12

  • now thats a trailer...it did not spoil the whole movie like most trailers now a days.

  • i get a boner everytime anton is in a scene, the dude is to badass lol

  • coin toss best seen anyone agree

  • @discozohan3469 personally my favourite scene is where Chigurh talks to Welles in the hotel room and then to Moss over the phone.

  • FRIENDO

  • Anton Chigurh... Chunk Norris's friend

  • it takes one mean motherf*cker to look mean in Javier's haircut =)

  • @bustedup LMFAO ! But so true.

  • this is a great movie but i just wished the character played by Javier got killed or something... i love and hate that character for its uniqueness and creepiness, but i just want to see a happy ending. I mean although the girl ended up badly at the end of true grit, it's still a happy ending.... still, what a great film

  • Dark Knight stole the coin toss from this movie! Great movie but it is obvious that movie didn't originate from there!

  • I just saw this movie and, wow! In an age of garbage piles of movies, this one is a diamond. At least someone out there is making truly good movies.

  • @MrMadmardin some-two* :)

  • A perfect movie

  • javier bardem, what an ACTOR!!!!

  • This is the kind of Movie Hitchcock would be doing if he was still alive... TENSE, DRAMATIC, GREAT ACTING, BEAUTIFULLY SHOT, GREAT DIALOGUE, AND A TOUCH OF VIOLENCE... Fantastic Film, deserves all those Oscars it got.

  • call it

  • What is the guitar solo song called that's toward the beginning.

  • Sickest movie ever. Very smart thinking through out the entire movie, and tons of violence with suspense throughout. It even seems like a love story, being how Brolin went to all the trouble of running with the money just to provide a better life for his wife.

    10/10

  • all I wanna know is where the hell did that money go to

  • @thrillamne The Mexican cartel got it. Moss had TWO interested parties looking for him. Bardem is so great as Chigurgh that you forget about the violent Mexicans . . .

  • Watching drive reminds me of this movie

  • @FinnFin2, There are several interpretations of what the title means. I always took it in reference to Tommy Lee Jones' character, who is of an older generation and can't stand the violence of the evolving country.

  • @levimdykstra yeah that's what i thought too.

  • What does the title "No country for old men" exactly mean? Is it some kind of an idiomatic phrase?

  • @FinnFin2 No Country For Old Men refers to the poem "Sailing to Byzantium", the deeper question is why it refers to the poem.

  • One of the top 10.

  • I remember first seeing this trailer on a dvd and thinking "Who the hell is this guy with the coin?!" He scared the @#$% out of me. This movie is one of the best ever made. But that's no surprise, it coming from the Coen Brothers after all.

  • what was wrong with anton?? :S

  • Is this movie out in England?

  • @SkittlesLurver who knows maybe. If you look for it you can find itYou be amazed what you find on the internet. I f

  • @SkittlesLurver Yeah, it was released like three years ago.

  • 178 old men

  • @adrianmrmonk Naravno zemljace, kako god ti kazes. Vidim koliko si nacitan. Nego reci ti meni imas li ti kakav bolji argument u korist ovog filma od "nemas ti pojma", posto treci put to ponavljas?

  • Most overrated movie ever

  • Most overrated movie ever

  • Most overrated movie ever

  • Chirgrgh mane should have been the latino "Segura"--Growing up in Texas, that's how it sounded. He certainly was a mixed-blood, bad ass Mexcun with that air compressed gun.

  • the amazing thing, is how powerful this movie is with no cussing, it shows that with a good script, directors and actors, cussing is a sign of a lame script, and i love comedy central roasts

  • play arcade fire "my body is a cage" in the background and watch this trailer in mute.......badass, someone should make a video!

  • This movie made such an impact on the way I look at life...absolutely phenomenal.

  • the original two-face?

  • Amazing first half of the movie, but ending sucked. Yeah I know it's supposed to be unique an different and blah blah blah, but still lousy ending. I understand what they were trying to do, still didn't like how it all concluded.

  • im glad i never met anton chigurgh in my life otherwise i wont be writing this comment.

  • This movie don't need a hollywood ending, it is pure cinema.

  • @LRNSWLTRS what is a hollywood ending???

  • @chand145 a happy ending

  • @ScraPp1CocO yeah but as long as I remember happy ending applies only on Indian movies not on Hollywood movies because you can see in american beauty, the hurt locker and much more not all the movies have happy ending but you can see in every Bollywood movie whether it is a love story or action drama.they require a happy ending to keep their audience happy and delight because whenever they didn't make a happy ending the film was flop that can clearly be seen in devdas

  • @chand145 well i have never seen a bollywood movie, maybe cuz i dont count them as a movie.

When he said "Hollywood ending" he actually ment a "mainstream happy ending" like in kids movies where the bad one dies and the good one lifes happy till the rest of his life, like in Transformers or Avatar...

And movies without happy endings are mostly the best ones because they touch you the most, like this movie, One flew over Cuckoos nest, American beauty, Forrest gump, Donnie Darko etc. etc...

  • super floop not a good ending

although start was good but as the movie comes to an end we think that could have been better if the man with money stayed alive and the villain was caught

but this movie only gave one message - evil prevails in todays times(like islam-the religion of evils)

  • @rockysikander you missed the point of the movie.

  • @rahl182 troll'd

  • @rockysikander no! thats a mainstream ending.

thats what everybody would have expected.

The movie shows that life hasnt always a happy ending like in a disney movie.

...otherwise the movie wouldnt be called "No country for old men"

  • @ScraPp1CocO thanks ma brother for tellin me coz i totally got it wrong

    thanks man

    :)

  • Grande Bardem, el mejor actor de España

  • @bjpw1234

    U didnt read the book

  • friendo!!

  • am i the only one that noticed that there was no music as in score through out this whole whole film. amazing fucking film btw.

  • bad ass movie

  • WHERE DOUS HE WORK?

  • Although it isn't, this movie is so f*ckin' hilarious!! XD

  • Amazing film. Brilliant plot, well made. Great acting. Just movie perfection.

  • SPOILER ALERT-- Amazing movie... I just don't like the ending. I mean, seriously? Lew dies, and the sheriff retires as the psycho killer Anton gets away? I understand not every movie can have a happy ending but come on... there should be a little more to it than that.

  • @bjpw1234....ok, did you understand why the movie is called No Country for Old Men? its an observation within an observation, the main characters are like within a frame of observation, they're THE main characters, but they're not REALLY the main characters, they're more or less just a story on the evening news, they're expendable. Think about the opening dialogue, and the second to the last conversation Tommy Lee Jones character has in the coffee shop and then with his father at the end.

  • Scariest Fuckin kiLLer of aLL time,

  • @jamsqueso Whay about Hannibal Lecter?? He certainly made an impression on me "+++"

  • Excelent movie. The bad guy Chigurh is perhaps the scariest person I've ever seen in a movie. Evil, heartless, insane, killer. I was creeped out every time he came on the screen.

  • @realityright thats the point friendo

  • This movie was horrible except for the acting. The storyline was very lacking.

  • I love this movie, yeah snicker, snicker. Anyone who's pulse didn't increase when he went back to give the guy some water...is comatose! This movie deserved every acclaim it got and more! Sure the dialog wasn't much...what needed to be said? The acting and cinematography was excellent! And the ending? Oh how shocking! Gimme a break. Sometimes the hero fails. The old man retires and Shugar....I'm certain he came to some horrible death. Not everything in life is spelled out for you. I love it!

  • In my opinion this better than fight club ppl kill me i know

  • This movie was incredible. I actually sat and watched the thing in awe. Best thing is there wasn't something blowing up every 5 minutes or College kids fucking like every other movie.

  • No one could pull off what Bardem portrayed here. No one!! This film is just...well you know...indescribable!
