There are a lot of environments where a touch screen is not desirable. Imagine being in the kitchen with cake batter on your hands and you want to find a recipe for frosting.

Even with clean hands I hate having to clean my finger prints from the monitors. Touch screens will eventually be a thing of the past. People don't want finger prints all over their 52" TV's....

Which TOF camera do you use? and what is its price?

we are independent of the camera, best results are achieved by using the very recent camcube from pmd technologies. in the video we are using a swissranger 3000 from mesa. the price for such cameras is round about 5.000 euros at the moment. We soon will post a new video with a two hand interaction.
