@sheepshitonastick I think what he's trying to say is that GT5 doesn't have the f1 series in it i.e. you can race 17 races or whatever round the official tracks with all the official cars. I know there's a ferrari in it plus a few tracks but not everything. Plus this has the "Live the life" which sounds pretty good. I like games where you don't have to "build up money" to be the best.

@HDGL you cant do that because you would have to send out large updates every 2 weeks and that would be so much work that they dont really have time for developing the next game

fifa does it very well, they release the game just after the season has started. this game just feels like they are filling a slot to plug the gap. and its a cheap way of doing it, i would rather wait 4 months for the newer game to come out than only have a few weeks of gameplay.

it doesnt take much to make a game that will last the whole of a sporting season, PGA FIFA NBA NFL NHL they all do it so why cant Codemasters?

new engines

new body kits with totally different aerodynamics

car skins can change

and there is the question when the teams allow them to study the cars and you cant do that @ the tests @ jerez

@Smikefliege football transfers, injurys, drafts, interactive news, they could do it. i know parts change a lot, but they could easily make maybe say a monthly download with the major upgrades, things like F ducts are a huge step up, but things like brake fade distributors not a lot of people know about. the big things like driver changed, kers, f ducts, skin models, and they could do it. i just would rather wait for the new season and have a longer shelf life and play time
