@endeavourthelimits its not a dragon, its a shishi, a mythical lion. he is the guardian of heaven in Japanese mythology. the guy in black is a koken (stage hand). he fixes the shishi's hair so he may look presentable when he stikes a pose (proper term is "cut a mie").
