I would love to despise Elton John, for a million good reasons... but then he goes and does something like this, bringing out an old-time rocker back into the star role and doing it properly, with fabulous songs and sheet-lightning performance. There must be a human being beneath all the affectation and waste.

Leon's piano is more 'earthy and bluesy' than John's...but nonetheless they sound fabulous!

Elton just keeps making better and better records.If you cant tell,you're not listening .i love the way their voices blend so well ,i couldn t tell who was who at first .i think some of the piano is Leon's style showing thru there .definitely a career worth salvaging from the wreckage!

I like the crisp sound. So good to hear Russell. You have to be a fan of Leon Russell to appreciate the new material w/ Elton John. Like the video production but it's not clear if this is official or not.

Meh, I don't think it quite gets the grit the lyrics are going for, better production maybe would do it, but you can tell the lead vocalist isn't giving it everything and no chemistry between the two vocalists, sounds like Elton is singing in another room.
