The lost vocal tapes of RIP were found (?), the user magicsfive5 has uploaded a shitload of master tracks including the original vocal tracks from RIP. He probably got them from Rock Band. So I guess we can hope for a second remaster of RIP for it's 25th anniversary with original vox too?

Remastered version of this album is better for bass ans guitars. Less good for the backing vocals, which are changed. Quite equal for the drums. The lead vocals had been rerecorded but it really dont sound very much different. All in all, i prefer the remaster... but its good to listen to both

The first time I ever heard a megadeth song was five years ago playing guitar hero. I was playing this song for the first time and I thought it was pretty cool until I heard dave singing and was like Wtf he sucks ass at singing. But five years later I really like the way he sings on songs like Polaris, symphony of destruction, and peace sells. He has such a sinister voice. James hetfield had a much deeper voice, but not as sinister.
