If my time keeping is right, O'Malley split 54 at 400m. I know he was carrying some lions, tigers, and bears in that last 200. You can see how sharply he's slowed compared to the ground that's being picked up by those behind him. Coming off the last back straight, he surely had a 3+ second lead. Though what matters is the win not the margin I guess. 600m really looks like one mean distance.
