tried responding this week by video, I must really be computer challenged! Paisley was a challenge, but I did it, after a few start ups and stops along the way due to the subject matter at hand! But I did upload it, but don't know where it went to...it is over at bravegirldiaries on you tube...i thought paisley was a challenge, but this weeks prompt....wow...i gotta think out of my comfort zone of art for this one maybe...
Paisley reminds me of the late 1970s when my older brothers wore paisley boxer shorts that they had stick out the top of their pants a couple of inches. Now whenever I see anything with paisley print it reminds me of underwear being worn by teenaged boys trying to look fly for the ladies. Ugg.
@LeeseXXX Im going out tomorrow to see if I can find those upholstery things that tent had to hang up the curtains. I had them up there once tied and it did not look as good. Exactly what I need to create a soft space.
Oh paisley. It troubled me just as much!! But your house is amazing! It has so many soft places and so much natural light! I love it!
Also, I think it will be amazing if you teach over the internet. I went to a cyber high school, so it was entirely over the internet. It's definitely the way schooling is headed!
@Courthar God I don't even want to hear the word paisley, ha. *shudders* I am seeing pooking this sunday and I will take proper video. But I won't take him home for one more week.
@kitty3309 I'm not going to move Im going to stay here so kitty has a home too. Although the place in the country was ideal, I couldn't leave the kitty homeless. So now he is officially my cat. But he wont come in the house. If I ever leave this area it will be only where it will be safe for him to come along =^_^=
You must love having allot of plants around as well =) I have to have at least some plants around me. Nice gypsy wagon!
" I want to make my space a place that I really really really really want to be." Took the words right out of my mouth there! Im living with the brother in law atm and its not where I want to be, but I will make it livable!
and OOOO live teaching! I must get a web cam, but first I must fix my pc, lol.
@JessisKnoll the whole idea is not to wait for the ideal, like.. "Oh once so and so happens, then I will live my life." You have to live it now wherever you are. Whatever he will allow you to do carve out a space for yourself in your environment. All of these plants came with the new house and I have never before been able to keep one alive. But I am really trying. Most of them are easy to deal with plants so thats a plus.
