  • Sadly, a Turbo snail, with its heavy self, caused a piece of rock to fall off with stuck on it, right on top of the anemone.. The anemone did not make it.. That is what can happen with very, very porus rock that I have in this tank. Almost cuts with scissors. Oh well.. we will try again soon.

  • how often and much water change do u do? what supplement do u use? are adding more corals?

  • @00APrilAq00

I use Reverse Osmosis water and do a weekly 5-8 gallon water change. Rinse out filter each week and replace it after 2 months. I top the evaporation off with more plain RO water to keep it under the black edging at the top. We will be putting in Corals soon.. We are in the process of moving and have broke this down and set it up within a couple hours at our new home. It is just as clear.. With the filters and skimmer the murk is clear in no time!

  • @MizARAZI Do u only use RO water not RO/DI? 'coz I wanna buy one of of those RO filter but I don't know if I hav to get a Deionization. What kind of filter medias do u use? I currently have FOWLR tank and i wanna transform it to coral reef tank.

  • @00APrilAq00 I get mine from Walmart.. It is the RO/DI, Filtered 3 times. The unit is one in which you fill up the empty jugs yourself. The tank is so clean right now, and doing so well, that I am afraid my turbos are not getting the right amount of food.. I now have well water.. I am going to see how the tank does with it. The well is 125 feet deep. Maybe that will help the turbos have something to eat.. If not I will have to supplement their diet with algae strips.
