Well it technically is considered "easier". The "harder" version requires separate melodies to be played on left and right hand. This one is a repetition of certain chords, so techinically it is easier :p

@tessamathon Me as a piano player, I use my ring finger primary for the octaves. You get a wider finger distance with the ring finger whereas using the pinkie, there is a limited range of distance to reach those octaves.
