dude, i never knew that whiplash used rubber bands forthe drive, this is the only vid of yours i hadnt seen. do rubber bands work? they would just slip, right?

Actually the lego green rubber bands aren't bad - it drove fine, I can't remember why I removed them, but they ended up on Overdrive and again, not bad, but there is the potentiol for them to come off. But no slip...

@ochayedonald oh now i see. actually i tried it after you replied on the big bang/robopocolypse, and it works great! also, i see that you create your spinning bars by attaching three or so rectangular pieces, right? after I post my first battle, ill show post another vid showing you how to make a simpler, but VERY failsafe, bar - the one i use for robopocolypse

wow, the 2 recharcheble batteries are really expensive, i´ve seen them at bricklink: one of them costs 45.00 dollar, do you bought them there?

Yes, I got them through bricklink as it's cheaper than through the lego shop. Althoguh pricey, I reccommend as there's many advantages!

i dont know the actuators are actuall good for crushing, i mad a bot with them that crushed but took it apart because it wasnt like i wanted

I'm hoping it will grab, squeeze pieces away from each other (like liftarms holding parts together, wheels/tyres, weapons, weak structures). But I really have no idea how good it will be. I hope it isn't powerful enough to actually break pieces though!! The design may even make the arm simply snap lol

megabite is a good name but i thought of a couple...

1. deltasaur

2. tiberius { a good crusher that wa in robot wars and had a similar mechanism to what this robot's crusher is }

3. tiberium { i thought that was a cool name for a crusher}

those 3 are my ideas and some people would say "call it razer because razer was legendary and it was the best" but no.. razer was a great robot and it cant be copied.. its only exception was if someone made a MOC of razer out of lego or any other brand.

I avoid using names that where used in Robot Wars itself. I haven't actually put any armour or decoration on it yet - so Deltasaur gave me the idea of making it look a bit like a dinosaur...

Tiberium - I still play TSun over a network at home! Such a good game. In future I'll have to call a new robot "The Harvester"
