  • I have an 08 street triple, fastest I've gone is 232 km/h.. It depends on the roads and wind speeds I find, it was hard getting her up to that speed tho, but it's stock.. Your acceleration just seems so effortless, nice vid!!

  • is it original with arrow system or with the normal?

and does it hurt on that naked with so much speed? xD

I'm thinking if i should buy a racingbike like the daytona or a naked like the street triple :P

the daytona is faster but also more expensive as the street triple...

but i don't know if the street triple or in general all nakeds are much comfortable...

    PS: nice clip ;=)

  • true...

But the camera is mounted on the bars and I can't lean much.

Without the camera in the way the bike was even faster at high speeds and easily hits the rev limiter at 254 km/h :)

  • in the reflection of the dashboard, i can see that you are just sitting up... would you not be faster if u made the overall position aerodynamically faster by leanin in? just a question... i wonder how fast you'd go then :)

  • so so I think it's shut up in English either the Queens or American and logic would tell you on the street at 250 ish would be KPH. so so .

  • venait voir ma triumph street triple avec pots devil carbone dechicanes un son manifique

  • A triumph kurva jó motor.A legjobb a Speed triple...

Ezt a triumph speed triple-t módosították,ugyanis a fordulatmérőcáger túlhaladta a leszabályozási fordulatszámot.(ez sztem lehetetlen,ha a motor minden alkatrésze még gyári)

Egyvalamit elrontottak a triumph speed triple-n

a csúcssebessége csak 250 km/h...Ez egy 1050 ccm motornál szégyen!!!!!

  • @Tomtriumphs is this kph or mph?

  • No standart sprockets everything stock about engine only 3- 1 arrow system+mapping that triumph dealers have for this system 254=max speed that you hit the rev limiter on in 6th gear...)

Very fast bike for a naked with only 675cc's !

    I now ride a zx-10r 2004

  • No ways the bike is not modified in some way besides the exhaust!!!

I have a 2009 Street Triple R with 3-1 Arrow exhaust & mapping and top speed is 225 km/h. Tested this on 3 seperate occasions. The revs just top out at 225.

Must be a sproket change at the very least.

  • Nice! I've bumped 158mph / 254kph on my '08. Still had a few more in her, but I ran out of road, haha. Of course top speed isn't you I buy the thing; my '05 R6 would eat the Trump for lunch in that dept, but the Speedy is waaaaaaay more fun and gets a lot more attention! Enjoy yours and keep her shiny side up :)

  • good to see a video where the bikes getting ridden how it should be.. sweeeet triple scream!!! gotta love the way this bike power wheelies at the red line in third gear 150 kph+. Gotta say tho ,i would love another 2k top end and 15 more hp.

  • Unbeliveble! I have a Standard Street Triple, but my maximum top speed was 225km/h. How you can do that? You modified your bike?

  • I have 2008 model and before exchausts and remaping i had max 240kmh - now about 245kmh at the red line - in the video he goes past it thats why he has 249

  • is your 675 ''straight''? or did you make adjustments?? exhaust or anything other??

  • is your 675 ST ''straight''?,or did you make any other adjustments??

for ex. exhaust, or sprox...or others??

  • what was the opening song please? nice bike=D

  • @jesseajax93 KRS One - Sound of da police

  • fast ass bike^^

  • thats awesome

  • fuck that with no fairing,

  • holy shit! i was bored to read the other comments to find out. have you modified the bike or is it straight from factory?

  • Only modification to the engine is arrow full exhaust system+mapping adjust (you can get that map with every triumph dealer)

  • Went to the dyno last weeked. It recorder 133hp@10.030rpm, and between 110 and 122hp @the rear wheel. I was told that rwhp is not a very accurate measure so i shouldn't worry too much about that and it is very hard to compare between different dyno's. Anyway it topped 266 km/h (they told me it should be 263 but something happened on the clock and it "jumped" to 266 suddently). The torque is nice and flat, the power curve is great, and it gets the full power around 230km/h, near the redline.

  • run s perfekt !!!! nice bike

  • Thats great enjoy it!

  • Dude, you're faster than my Speed Triple 1050!! :D ROFL

well, just completed my first 2000km, and until now my top speed around 223km/h... hope it gets faster from now on since it needs more kilometers to get that engine freed up... Anyway, loved that video! TRIPLES RULE!

  • Yes the 1050 should get to about 262 km/h on the speedo.... my 675 goes 254 in the rev limiter ;) it's a very fast little bike.

Best street bike ive ridden so far ! the way it handles and how easy the front gets of the ground :d

  • PS It should go over 223 easily I did a test drive on a 1050 and got to about 235 but the thing had no flyscreen so I stopped before my head woul come off haha

  • i believe that :) mine has a small flyscreen but over 200km/h it gets very difficult to "survive". anyway, i hope i can get over 223km/h later one (my Triumph dealer told me that i'm going to lose a bit of top speed because i am going to fit a 3-1 Arrow system) - more middle range, less top end he told me. Doesn't matter, the 1050 are all about middle range anyway!

  • my 675 has got arrow 3-1 and it feels stronger all the way!

The 1050 to me felt VERY strong torquey bike in low/midrange... but reving it didn't realy make the bike accelerate much faster than just shifting early.

The 675 is the opposite pretty fast midrange (not so fast as 1050 offcourse) and once you rev it over 8/900rpm it goes to the red zone very fast.

  • the 675 is a wonderful machine. my 1050 is not as refined but yes, it's really torquey and it has that single swingarm that i really like. if i wasn't this torque addicted, i'd buy the 675. and yes, again you're right: you can shift @8000 rpm on the big triple, but you can get to the red line too. i took a look at some graphs. The Street has 93hp near the redline (cool), the Speed has 123hp also near the redline. Your power curve is more eminent but both can run to the redline :)

  • @bastardjunkie 93!? thats a realy poor 675 then haha.

I think mine will go wel over 100 rwhp (will put it on dyno in a few months)and 123 for a speed is very much (probably tuned with other exhausts tuneboy etc? )

When I rode the triple 1050 a friend of mine was on the street R.

And whe both accelerated flatout from the stoplights to +230 and there was as good as NO differende between the two in acceleration! (we where always very close together)

  • Yes you are right. I took a better look at those dyno graphs and in fact, the Street has 91-93 rwhp, and the Speed has around 114 rwhp. Google images, search for "speed triple torque dyno" - you'll get graphs from both. Anyway, because of being lighter, more modern, based on a sports bike and better overall handling, the Street is REALLY fast and even faster on circuit than the Speed (there is a Nurburgring test that shows that) - i bought the Speed because of it's looks and torque only...

  • Yes I realy like the speed to but I feels like it's not the bike for me (i'm not so big or heavy and the speed is just a pretty big bike compared to the street) I think better suited for bigger people.

    Altough it handles very well!

I love triples maybe my next bike will be a benelli tnt but I'l have to testdrive it first before I decide.

    Grtz

  • @Tomtriumphs4

On the street I imagine there is hardly a difference. Isn't the Street R just have a few parts from the Daytona 675? Like brakes and suspension? So the power should be similar to the standard right? None the less I love Triumph. Currently own a Triumph T595 (955cc) and love it. But I am ready to get either a D675 or a Street Triple. Any adivice?

  • @SupraElites they tested the street versus speed triple on the nurburg ring and the street destroyed the speed triple :p

But you can ride both very fast and they are both great fun ond the road;)

  • @SupraElites Just ride both and you wil know...

I have had 2 triumph naked bike's over the years and I think the street triple is a VERY good motorcycle.

Just wanted to have a racer now and couldn't afford a nice daytona so I bought a 2004 zx10r but i'm still a huge triumph lover and maybe in a few years I will ride triumph again.

    Grtz

  • sure the R model has a bit better suspension and brakes - I got the 2008 one with KN racing filter arrow slip on exchausts and triumph remaping (triumph says it gives about 9hp) some accesories changed with rizomas products (exchausts and accesories means about 5kg loss) - have test it on track (mostly sharp turns and not long straight lines) with an R(also -5kg) one and mine turned out to be better - couldnt see much difference in turns between the 2 bikes - either bike you buy you gonna loveit

  • @Tomtriumphs4

Oh and what I said may sound confusing haha. I mean comparing the Street R to a Speed Triple on the street there won't probably be a a big difference. Maybe on the track though? I don't know. :)

  • @bastardjunkie

ofcourse roll on throtlle at low speeds/revs or big gears the 1050 destroys the 675 haha

  • I thought I heard the handling was better on the street then the speed triple. Thats cool to hear. In my opinion, I would take a street triple over a speed triple for a few reasons. One, I like women on the back. Not really a seat on the speed triple. Two, it just looks better to me for some reason. Three, seems more race oriented. But either way triumph kicks ass. :)

  • Holy shit. thats fucking awesome for a bike with no bodywork! let alone a 675cc!

  • what is that in MPH? Also, is it completely stock? If not, what mods were made?

  • @FreddyF1969

    No thats KM/h (60mph=95km/h)

Bike is completely stock except arrow lowmount exhaust system+mapping.

I tried another top speed run few months later and got to 254 km/h in the rev limiter

  • I also do this with a friend our results with this bike were:

0 to 100: 3.5 secs starting from 6000 rpm not 4000 as in your vid. Then we made exactly 10.5 secs to reach 200km/h and finally we made 24.9 secs to reach 250km/h. I don't know if we could have a better 0 to 100? Anyone has tried?

  • Only had one try...

Maybe i could go faster if i doe a few runs but I don't want to lose my license....

  • wise boy !

  • the bike got like 110+ 1st gear max speed ,it's not that hard to do a better time on a new asphalt starting with burn out :)

  • en plus elle est super légere pas creuse, un régal a part le prix peut etre :)

  • amazing machine!

  • o_O

  • la sesta è lunghissima!!!!!

  • 154 mph pretty impressive, does it handle well?

  • It handles great.

Very stable and very flickable I think it's very easy to ride fast with this bike comparing to lots off other bike's i've ridden.

I have this bike a year now and i want to keep it forever :d

  • lol i have a s3 ans its akward to lean on the fucken tank at high speed.. its not a speed bike or a highway bike.. its more of a show off bike.. i like it though.. handles well from 0 to 12 500 rpm.. no dead zones.. great weigth/power ratio.. its a good machine

  • do you get wobbles at 120 mph? I've noticed that problem with mine. (brand new)

  • sweet! :D

  • the fly screen is from speed triple....can someone explain me that?????????????

  • the speed's fly screen fits on street too

  • It's so funny how the stupid people express their emotions on the USA.

No, I'm from Germany. But I'm not what one'd call "dumb" and understand sarcastic answers.

  • now you need a Speed Triple to get better....

  • your country uses miles... mine uses khm ... PS. sry for my broken english ..

  • was teasing :) but thank you.

  • um last time I checked, there were only 2 countries still using MPH faggot.

EVERYONE else use KPH, even the US Military us the metric system.

    idiot.

  • fuck you in my country we use km/h and its far better than this confuse way of miles . so so shit up and think you are god

  • lies. You use km/h because you are a lesser nation. Only the sub-nations use metric.

  • idiot. you english system its complicated and strange you talk trash first so your flag for me now live your life

  • lol. You're hilarious. Learn English before you post in English. Hahahaha. God you're funny.

  • you re funy as well. USA is not the center of the world, is it ?

  • apparently it is. Enjoy your falafel.

  • open a book once in ur lifetime

  • american.... could you stop being assholes for a once ?

  • Funny. I'm a writer. Now go kill yourself. I mean URslf.

  • hahahahahaha

  • @shckar m.p.h. came first, so there!

Why are you so frustrated? Lighten up dude and have a good day. :)

  • @cynic150 But it's very unlogical.. if you think about it, everything about inches, feet, pounds, ounces, miles, etc. should be abolished, and the much better and completely logical and compatible SI metric system introduced instead, as in the rest of the world. just saying...

  • lo0l looser!!!

  • My top speed in the Street Triple was 245km/h without windscreen, but with a good helmet it's ok.

  • how is the wind at those speeds on a naked bike?

  • HARD! especialy because i couldn't completely tuck in because off the camera I couldn't do +240 longer than some seconds good training for neck musles though lol ;)

  • Another very nice vid from you man.

Would you say arrow exhaust noticibly improves acceleration and top speed? (if at all really)

    thx

  • thx yes I do notice more torque and acceleration in midrange and lower revs haven't tested top speed with standart exhaust (breaking in)

  • song name?

  • Sound of the police, KRS One

  • i have this bike!:p ^^

  • I need this bike!

  • Nice bike. Next year i buy this bike =).
