@J4RJ4R13INK5 As long as the player has a hand grabbing the disc and complete control over it, it can hit/touch the ground and it is still a complete catch. Otherwise, this highlight would not be so popular and it definitely wouldn't be on Ultivillage.

@humudu that's dead. when you look at the video very closely you can tell that his hand is moving along with the disc the entire time. the disc indisputably hits the ground, but after he stopped rotation; and he never let go of it.

This is surely an awesome catch, but I prefer Josh Ziperstein's catch at like 2:40 in this video: /watch?v=dAJLFE_zDdw , same layout but after a D and a direction change, making it even more epic.
