(broken string screwed up amp that thing that holds the strings in place at the end of the neck is broken too. soo none of the strings are held in place now. its a 1984 cort guitar anyways so it doesnt matter

Hey there, ive seen a few of your vids and you play well :), i got a question though. I play the same model guitar (Ibanez ic300) and i find that the strap dosent work, no matter what strap i use it always slides off, which is a pain for gigs, does yours do the same? heeeeeeelp, thanks XD

I did get that a bit to start with but I bought a couple of longer straps and it seemed to help.

When I play gigs I using locking strap nuts that fit over the bit where you strap goes onto the guitar and makes it impossible for it to come off.

They could be worth investing in :]

Lol I tremolo pick it also when playing infront of others, but on my own I practice it, but Im pretty sure its easier to do it when its louder because when the sound seems faded when its louder it will still be very loud.

I think the best example of this riff is the live version of Needles at Ozzfest in 2002.

He plays it in 2 different ways and it is SOO clear.

Thanks!! It took me absolutley ages to get it sounding good! By far the hardest part of the song.

I use two methods. The first time I do it before the verse I just tremolo pick and do it.  But then after that use a different method which I can't really explain but I think sounds better. I just watched lots of live videos and then finally listened to the recording slowed down.

Normally I would but I use the clean at the start so you get a better contrast with the bit straight after the intro. It gives the start a bit more of a punch.
