To adjust power cost, look for the part of he code that says "power add" and chance it to eitehr negative 1000, 2000, or 3,00. each 1000 represents 1 or he little energy bar things.

I don't think that's possible in MUGEN, you have to make a different character if you want to add a powerup.

go to options and in Win Mugen Executable click Find look for your mugen, double click it. and should so up it the options screen, click OK. there you go.

the way I do it is hilight the sprites, they might be bmp or png. after hilighting them click auto crop. do not click shared palette! you add them and then at the top click sprites. after every single sprite has been added. in the sprite box at the top there should be save all sprites as pcx. click that.

If something is not covered in the video you can easily find the answers through other user created characters by "reverse enginering" the code it's simple if you understand some of the fundamentals this video shows, the debug game screen shows you the exactly what you need to know to find what the animations are named and which ones you are missing.

for ShotoKen9. its prolly because you didnt add the sprites in properly. when you are in FF and hit the "Transparentcey" option. Does your Pink (or blue) background dissapear and hes standing there with no surrounding? if it doesnt do that it means you didnt follow the first video properly. As for the black box. Do you mean that shows in mugen? if so that means more than likely that PCX image was sprited in wrong.

I'm wondering if it has something to do wtih the Triggers & State, I notice you have something set differently that you didn't mention proj command, where it says "trigger1 = statetype" at 8:04 and the rest is hard to read.
