They're redesigning the Taurus for the 2010 model year. To see a spy pic type in "2010 Ford Taurus" on Google and you'll find it easily. Also, type in "2010 Ford Taurus SHO interior" to get an interior shot. It looks a billion times more modern than this one, almost looks like a future Nissan.

Nice car! The thing I don't get is why did they replace the Ford Five Hundred? This car is too drool over, but the old Ford Taurus was a pile of shit! A 2006 Ford Taurus is about as stylish as 1995 Camry! Now when you brag about this car people will be like "Which one? The new one or the old one?" I think they should have just dropped the Taurus like they were going to and remodel the Five Hundred. I like the Five Hundred. I would drive this though.

the 500 was actually a good car, if you like bland, boring and arent in a hurry. the 500 name was dropped becuause ford felt it didnt resonate with customers like the taurus/sable did. for a brief period, i believe the 500 surpassed the camry as king boring. the new 08 taurus got worked up in the looks department and looks sportier yet reserved, has much more pep thanks to the Duratec 35/6 speed auto and still has a trunk size a mobster would approve of

quite a bit actually. most will notice the engine/tranny combo the 500 desperately needed. the new duratec 35/6-speed auto are miles ahead of the old duratec 30/CVT combo.

My uncle just a 2008 Taurus SEL and let me drive it today; let me tell you this car is gorgeous!! And what a ride! Absolute heaven! But I still love my 1998 SE; over 155,000 miles and still going strong!!

Very good! Very peppy V6 engine and the transmission shifted so smoothly I barely felt it. As with all Taurses, the interior is roomy and comfortable and the trunk is spacious. Plus I like the higher stance on this car. Very,very nice!!
