All very interesting, but dolphins should not be kept in captivity like this. The cruelty of such places is well documented. No animals should be kept in such captivity and used for our entertainment. The fact that they are so intelligent makes their imprisonment even less acceptable.
@bullyweeclive Most dolphins and whales kept in captivity are well cared for. Their trainers love them and the aquariums do all they can to meet the needs of these intelligent animals. It's also, unfortunately the only way many people will ever see and learn to appreciate these creatures. The existence of aquariums allows the public to be educated, and for tests and research like this to be performed. Research that goes a long way to protecting the species in the wild.

I've got a gold and blue macaw. Occasionally I'll take her to the bathroom and let her view us in the large mirror.
Now, I'm not entirely sure what her thought process is, but here's what happens:

That is fairly simple logic, and any argument following that pattern could be considered truth providing that all premises are assumed true. The problem with your logic is that it follows as such:

Those dolphins that get put into aquariums are bought from Tigi, Japan in the cove where they slaughter dolphins. They're very sensitive to sound and being in a stadium full of screaming people stresses them out which eventually leads to their suicide. They may look happy, but most of the time they're not. Please help spread awareness, if you've ever watched 'The Cove' you'd understand.
