  • Tunes like this got me into leftfield in the first place in the mid 90`s.

Great to know they`re still playing at festivals.

    WOW.

  • Well I'm 42 now and started buying *ahem* records in the early 80s, for me Leftism is the best listen-through album of the 90s, I also love Mezzanine from Massive Attack.

  • @dcanmore man you're so right

  • Whats with all the nalstolgic comments? Listen to the god damn song!

  • I was listening to this kind of music back in the '90-s, and I didin't even know what kind of music is this, but I knew this was meant for me!!! I was lik 5-7 years old when I first heard something like this but I fell in love with it.

  • Lest´s popping ..........Salah on stage XD

  • the show I have been waiting since 1999 to see- LEFTFIELD LIVE!!! see you @ Webster hall!

though my taste in styles of electronic music has changed over the years, Leftfield has been a top fav the whole time. Even John Digweed loves 'Song of Life'!

  • Awesome, so atmospheric... still the best tune to listen while watching a real thunderstorm

  • I once thought of this as the best album ever released. Better than Revolver, better than... anything. I think time has been unkind to it though. Still, this is a superb piece of mixing, but then Ive always been a sucker for a good breakbeat.

  • @vapourmile Yeah, still love this years on

  • I saw them get overlooked for the Chemical Brothers for a best dance band award a long time back on tv. Total bullshit....

  • Such a tune! The best Leftfield track I reckon. Reminds me of being at the Paradiso, Amsterdam. Ahhh happy messy memories...just fookin brilliant. Makes me feel young again. Sorta ;-)

  • I was 3 when this track was released...seems a shame most my generation hasnt heard of leftfield. Just saw them live and they were fucking amazing.

  • relaxing and very uplifting well gd use of synth's and bass. ive followed this music since i saw vanilla sky with tom crusie in. and i dont look back on it. this music is the way forward

  • i was banging my aunties shoes when they released this...good times..thanks aunty for your delicious sexy shoes...

  • 1:36 onwards is awesome

  • @frugward86 The Whole Piece is Awesome, since 1995.

  • i just saw a copy of this album at the record store in a used vinyl bin.. still might go buy it,

  • the best track ever!!!

  • thank u very much poster

awesome tune to rock ya fuckin head bak and forths !"" hahaaa

  • Thanks for posting, good and bad news, Leftfield are coming to Australia to support the Chemical Brothers :) yay, but at this stage Paul is not going to play live on that tour but that's ok good to have the band finally in Australia as they have only DJ'd here.

  • I need more

  • I need more volume

  • Still holds up . 15 years later.

  • @ponkor it will do in another 15 too, timeless

  • u can't forget this type of track....awesome....

  • leftfield is one of the most impressive electronica bands, too bad their concert performances went poorly. but who cares, they rock!!

  • @Tiamat583 I would agree with you on the poor gig aspect but last Saturday at the Electric Picnic I finally saw the Leftfield gig I have waited 15 years for. Every other time I saw them it I left feeling that it could have been better. Not this time.

  • what a tune.

  • 89-99..lucky bastards we were to see this happening...

  • Heavy Beats. Spacey Synth. Just what the doctor ordered.

  • @manuman2T7 Berk!

  • Nice One :D

  • αριστούργημα!!!!

  • Best tune on the album ,takes a nose dive when lydon opens up.lmao.

  • this is top drawer stuff,one love,peace

  • What the fuck is Mull ?????

  • If I was still into mull,I'd be right into this. What am I saying!!! I'm into it anyway....

  • Addictive business in bliss.

  • Stunning tune. Heavy wicked beats and gorgeous lush spaceyness. Just what the doctor ordered.

  • the style set the mood for us to REALLY ENJOY the 90's and the future...

music set my soul free to dream...

  • needs much more action, spyce... BASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!...

  • Glad 2 hear these guys are coming back! I remember my older bro use to listen to this in the 90s and i found the cd the other day some banging tunes on it :)

  • Headlining Boardmasters this year in Newquay too :)

  • i ment to like this

  • wooo

  • Leftfield anounced for rockness in June cnt wait!!!!!!

  • 3.36 is when the song kicks off

  • UNDERWORLD OR LEFTFIELD Hmm

  • @bowbow91

    Oh tough call that !

  • i was born 1990, so i was only a kid through the 90's and couldn't appreciate it as much, but now i'll listen to tunes like this here and there and instanly remember my days days in the 90's, goes to show that this sort of music sticks with you, its a shame that the music today doesn't stand out.

  • I like it, probably the best

  • @PsychosisFire------------> in total agreement, there will never be anything like this produced globally again. I onlyhave a few mates that will listen to this and nowadays if you ask someone if they've heard of Leftfield, KLF or The Orb they'll usually say no @ least in my case.

  • sick track, really dont make music like this anymore

  • Excelente musica de Leftfield, 100% Electronica downtempo, lastima que se hayan separado; Electronica lo mejor en musica alternativa.

  • 90's were a wonderful time for music. I hate that some dickbeater broke into my car and stole ALL of my discs back in 2004, including leftism :\

  • @jazzfunkblues i had the same happen to me in 99 bro,,grim isn't the word

  • @jazzfunkblues

Shit dawg, I'm high as fuck. Well, what if that crazy motherfucker uploaded your CDs onto youtube. Now that shit would be fucking retarded

  • Love this TUNE!!!!!

  • captincaveman08 ur damn right :). the beats are the same. the pitch seems a bit slower here

  • I remember hearing this song for the first time, somewhere halfway or at the end of the 90's.. Ok, I was heavily under the influence of xtc that night, but I found the song so cool that I could hardly control myself.. After that night I've been on a quest for several weeks to find out from who this song was and what the title was..

Still one of my favourites ever.

  • used this for a dance called abrupt continuum

    luv it

  • spain the moreleja nick,helped a lot.

  • nice track ripped in flac on my cowon d2..

    sick bass...

also now i know were the prodigy got the beats for "smack my bitch up" check out-

    3:33 sounds pretty similar eh...

  • Exactly. The Prodigy are so over-rated it's unbelievable.

  • prodigy over-rated?

lol your 1 funny guy xD

prodigy is just less spacey as leftfield

and more going for hard then soft music

it's just what you like more, i personaly like prodigy way more then leftfield

(wich doesn't mean i find leftfield bad tho)

  • Leftfield's first album is more "spacey" and "soft" but they're 2nd album is much harder with hardly any "soft" tracks on.

  • sound like it would be on some old racing game

  • This album is so old school, love it!

  • OMGGGG THIS WAS ON METROPOLOPLIS STREET RACER FOR DREAMCAST!!

Wow haha, allll these years & I only just discovered where the tune came from lol.

  • BEST ALBUM EVER

  • leftfield so deep you think about everything when you listen to this surreal!

  • it doesn't and hasn't got any better than this, the greatest album of all time, please feel free to disagree, i dare you!!!!

  • agree.

  • @stiofan2 couldnt agree with you more!

  • @stiofan2 Sure I disagree. There is one song what is better in my perspective :

    69 (carl craig) - Desire

  • @stiofan2 i must say this is the best quality if it dont get played that often... brings... something diff and i like it

  • @stiofan2 Possibly one of the longest lasting and most enjoyable albums of all time, agreed.... just NEVER gets old

  • @stiofan2 I might just buy it on your recommendation ;)

  • @stiofan2

absolutely the best electronic album ever made. who are these guys?!?

  • @stiofan2 its good but the fat of the land and exit planet dust r better than this

  • @stiofan2 you must shirley have listend to the Chemical Bros.? Exit Planet Dust album.

  • @stiofan2 How could ANYONE disagree?

    That would be stooopid!!

For me this is their best Track!!!

And i havent got a clue y... lol. I aint done nuthin. =P I think its a great song tho. x

  • Maybe she just wants to see you do well!! She told you the name of this awsome tune so she can't be all bad!!

  • this music was made after some whiskey bottles and cocaine..

  • Got to be the best dance trance track ever. Reminds me of the happy travelling days in beutiful Colombia, this tune was on all the time.

  • kwl

  • I choreographed a tap dance piece to this two years ago. My students tore it up at competition. :)

  • That's super fucking awesome. I'd love to have seen that.

    Good work :)

  • I do GCSE Dance in school, and im doing a dance to this song, and i love it! My dance is about life, and what we all have to go through (e.g. being born, childhood etc..) Plus at the beggining you can hear a beat, and i am making that as the heart beat at the start of my dance, for when you are born. x

  • record it and put it on youtube,i like this song very much, makes me wonder :-) how u dance on it...

  • that sounds really cool. how did you hear about the track out of intrest? was it a cool teacher or did you find your own way? atbest

  • Quite probably one of the best "Trance" tunes ever ...!!! Superb !

  • leftfield only released two albums way back in the 90's, i dont understand y they dont keep going because they never faded out, they just quit like that

  • i love this song

  • ..yep those were great times..just a different feeling from today..the forest parties up in scandinavia (sweden) and tons of auditoriums in england, holland, etc. Those were times!

  • Can any of you guys recommend other bands that may be similar to leftfield or just kick ass electronically? thnks

  • maybe portishead, boards of canada, propellerheads?

  • chemical brothers, ozric tentacles?

  • Wicked, wicked, wicked, yeah!! Ride...

  • thats not 100% i am only 15 and i carnt stand moden music, some of its ok i like faithless, gorillaz and daft punk but not like. Most kids like aloud of crap music like rap and there version of "house" not the classic house i like that =]. But yeh you are right, all kids in my school dont like or dont know any of this kinda music.
