I love my Saiga 12. It's more of a weapon of mass destruction than a gun. Check out the video I'll be attaching. My Saiga is not converted. I just did some custom work to the gas system. I got it and a bunch of my other gear from PFI Dude. I enjoyed watching the TNP All-Star shoot and many of your videos. Keep it up! Long live the Republic!

Honestly it looks more like .410 recoil. Much improved over the normal Saiga 12 though. When I go shooting I got to get me shooting all 8 rounds in 2 seconds like before, if I am still that fast! THAT THING LOOKS LIKE A ZOMBIE KILLER!

the light loads help with the recoil obviously. but dang hard to argue about the home defense ability of a shotgun with that set up. some 2 3/4" 00 buckshot and you could tear everything coming into your house to pieces in seconds

Why wouldn't a regular saiga 12 conversion cycle those rounds?

@ArsenalSGL31 The gas system of the saiga 12 is ported and the action is sprung for the high power loads (Combat shotguns like combat loads). The lighter loads don't have enough pressure to cycle the action completely and you will get failures. A pistol grip conversion does nothing to fix this problem because you don't mess with the gas system at all. It is a seperate process to address the undergassing issue and tune it with the correct springs for the job. B

Yeah, I'd say a muzzle break combined with "cupcake" loads creates a non-existent recoil!! LOL That thing didn't move at all. These things are fun to shoot even with the magnum loads and no muzzle break.

@HollowForm222 if you watch the other video of the crew shooting this shotgun you will see that it still has plenty of recoil even with the brake. The effectiveness of Shotgun muzzle brakes is pretty minor unless you are shooting slugs, and even then it still isn't near as effective as most quality rifle brakes on the market. Next time out we will throw some slugs for comparrison. Thanks for watching. B

Saiga 12's are the most awesome things ever. You have to be a BAMF to fire it rapidly. A regular 12 GA with heavy load is hard enough, but when you empty the 20 round mag in 5 seconds without stepping back :o The only problem with watching it on youtube is that camera's don't pick up on loud noises like gun shots. It sounds like a cap gun on here, but in real life, the sound alone will knock you off your feet. Great video man! Long live America and TNP :D
