I know exactly what to do after but it gets harder and harder. What you do is jump over the gap (avoiding the spiky thing from underneath) then quickly before the spiky thing from the top falls down you go underneath the bottom spiky thing and go as far left as possible (to avoid the soldier trying to kill you) you then fail, and have to avoid the spikes, fall on a platform. Then QUICKLY before the soldier falls down on you jump to a platform to the right (basically jump the moment you fall)

The cat is not a real boss. It's like invincible, you actually have to go underneath the spikey platform thing that goes up when you jump across it, then you reach some sort of underground level i think
