Used this video to disassemble my ICS M4 to replace a broken receiver, I bought the new one from Airsplat. Everything went well expect it didn't go over removing the trigger guard and taking apart the upper receiver. Informative video very simple and easy to follow I do agree with other posts that it would be better to have narration instead of music thats the only part I didn't get about this video.

how is that a ics m4 if classic army are the only ones aloud to put the armalite logo on the gun?

ICS used to have trademark licensing with Olympic Arms, but a while ago they acquired the Colt licensing instead which is why all their M4s have Colt trademarks. Besides, Colt owns the rights to the AR design since Armalite sold it to them.

@obassett1 you prob dont have a good seal. Either piston, barrel, bad BBs, Hop up, Bad seal on the piston.

PLEASE HELP ME I have a Well R18 m4 gun Metal. Is there a way to take off the front iron sight reticle on the very front of the gun so that I can put a sight on the gun without it in the way? please help thanks.

@maskedman09 Sometimes there is no way to take it out, but there might be pins you can push out to take it off, you will also need to temporarily remove the flashider. If not, the iron sight usually does not interfere with the scope. i have a very low scope, and my iron sight doesn't interfere at all. if it does, which is unlikely, you can buy a scope raiser.

@qaswoklp1 actually u will have to research that but if i were you i would look at places like airsoftpost or airsplat if they have any m4 gearboxes. in my understanding anything that has the name m4 is compatible with any types of m4s.

If it sounds like that and there are no bb's coming out It means the motor is loose

Look at the bottom of the pistol grip and tighten the screws and the alin key hole

Great idea, but that would be illegal and result in issues with ATF. And I don't think any of us want to be in that situation.

Nothing illegal with mounting an airsoft upper to an AR lower. They sell Crossbow upper receivers for AR lowers, and any caliber from .22 LR to .50 BMG (which is what I have).

If you can legally own an AR lower you can mount an airsoft on it legally.

Now if you cannot own an AR lower, then your not going to be looking for an upper receiver for one.

The modular nature of the AR makes this possible for current owners.

if u take off or push forward the delta ring, u can slide the pole thing holding the spring off by pushing it out with some thin thing. Its realllly easy

might be a bad fuse. but try removing the motor and putting it back in to make sure that the motor is not dissplaced

have you made sure there's nothing in the gears, my ics one had a piece of the mechanism from that button you push to unjam the piston lodged in the gears. got that out and it was ok!

battery is low or fucked up try purchasing a new batt. stock batt.`s are not good.

this wont work with and echo 1 either the gearbox is screwed in the lower reciever rather then just held in by the pin in the upper reciever
