IT WORKS!!!

Just did this on my iPod Touch. I used toothpicks, broke in half for a flat edge, & small LED light to see where to put liquid white into area that had RED mark. It is difficult to see mark you might need another person to help hold light & a bit of tilting should do it. I don't know if the headphone jack will work, got liquid white on that area, might use advice of nail polish remover or acetone to take off extra. Took about 45 to 60 minutes to see screen, all works fine for now!!!!

@bmxerkid27 Nail polish remover, the original pure stuff, NON OILY and with no fragrance nor water is acetone, one of the best organic solvents known to man . Carbon tetrachloride may be even better for this type of thing but I'm not sure you can get it anymore . Both are non flammable and I believe Carbon tet to be non conductive .

hey. i had an accident with my ipod while i was drinking milk XD the milk fell on it. and it didnt turn on. i put it in rice for 12 hours, it didnt turn on. after like 3 weeks, i plugged it into the computer, and itunes oppened. but the screen is turned off. and itunes started syncing it. and now im getting notifications. and the screen is turned off. would that work in my case?

@aidanoivoo Open it up and thoroughly douche it out with warm distilled water everywhere the milk looks like it may have gone. Tthen air dry completely with warm flowing air . Then reassemble and try it out. It is a likely fix 7 you only shot , other than an Apple tech, . A no residue electronic solvent may or may not work better. The problem is the solvent may compromise certain plastics & synthetic insulation and such.

But, you're lucky that worked.

i woke up with mine dripping wet inside its silicone case. it wouldnt turn on whatsoever so i dried it off and put it on top of the fridge for 36+ hours. i heard it helps to fix electronics in the same situation (putting it on the fridge). well i plugged it in and it botted up and seems to be working as good as new. :)

you can jailbreak yur ipod again and change what every button does - so swap the volume button to the actual volume button and the power 1 to actually turn it off - or can make holding down the home button to lock / unlock your ipod
