Did you say it's metal "core" only because of the punk-ish choruses? This is speed metal with some thrashy riffs here and there... call it whatever you want... BUT NOT -core.

Dude, have you listened to Japanese Hardcore at all? Aion's style is totally a fusion of speed metal and traditional Japanese hardcore. So I have no opposition toward this description.
