I meant "this" cd.@ Ivquestpaddler. I also played this at full blast pissing off neighbors. Especially the guy downstairs banging his broom or whatever on his ceiling. The across from dug it though and I would make him tapes.
Αυτό το κομμάτι απο το τρίτο άλμπουμ τον FLA είχε βγει το καλύτερο στο MTV βίντεο με γραφικά και καλύτερο single! Το έχει δει κάποιο Cyborg εκεί έξω?!
I used to make my neighbours lives a misery with this at full blast! Saw them just once in Edinburgh at the Venue in March 1991 they were absolutely superb, gave it their all despite a crowd of about 30!
Thumbs up to all the kids out there that are liking this. I feel so sorry for your generations music but at least you can appreciate how great this stuff was and still is.
I was 14 years old and a freshman in High School. I was already listening to the likes of Skinny Puppy, 242, and the Wax Trax family amognst others but it wasn't till I heard this that I said to myself " This is the future of Industrial" The stuff before this was good too but this album created a new mark in electro industrial forever! I've seen the Tactical tour in 92', Hard Wired tour in in 96' and just saw them for the third time a week ago! I adore them. FLA FOR LIFE!!!
@ebmhead I can relate. I saw them twice, once for the Hard Wired tour and once afterward. Those were the best time for Industrial, the 90's. Haven't seen anything like it since. Alot of those guys are gone now, dead or moved on to other things. Some bands like KMFDM are still around, but haven't done anything worthwhile in years.
Look up Front Line Assembly: The State if you want "icy cold clinical aggresion". :) This is pop music in comparison. And don't bash me, as I like this as well.
@shabbydirt Wouldn't that be kinda hard for them to do, considering that the band has moved onto other avenues of music? Their most current project is Delerium, i think. correct me if i'm wrong.
this is like..... music for.... dudes in gasmasks to just bust in all the windows... and pin you face down to the floor ....as the world becomes a cold bastard police state, and we're all barcoded and thrown in fucking cells.
Missing Lyrics Alert! Look at all the fools With their eyes sticking out Backup, backup. *They always knew a lesser God, Backup, backup* (my best interpretation of the vocals through all the distortion.) Deceived by the hype They all want control Backup, backup.
@DIVISIONINCISION - I was young and probably hanging out at the local record store to pick up whatever new wax trax release was out - then at night we would go out to the cool local dance club on the industrial/dance/alterna night and drink,smoke,dance..... good times long ago...
@DIVISIONINCISION I was wroking nightshift 11-8am at a grocery store ... this shit blew my mind when a friend introduced me on cassette tape. I'm a big SP fan but FLA had more energy.
Caustic Grip was the last "pure" industrial album from FLA, in terms of how it progressed in the 80's. It was the perfect capstone to that era, with TNI being a perfect beginning for a new age.
@DIVISIONINCISION i was 2? i wish there was still industrial stuff like this today but i haven't found if it is... not to mention Detroit is a fucking wasteland these days and it wouldn't be here anyways.
@DIVISIONINCISION Hi there! I agree*****On This album is perfect about totaly mass of industry , fakes , lobby, wars, sexism, insicurityes all over the world and is very actuell!
@DIVISIONINCISION I bought this as a 13 year old on a bootleg cassette (sorry, Soviet Union just collapsed, and legal music was all but unavailable) in march 1991 - it blew me away, it changed me as a person I am today.
Does anyone have 'hot wired monster trucks', an industrial compilation fron the late 80's - early 90s that i first heard this on..... please.. need it!
Yeah I have it-on CD box is a bit busted but don't need it anymore-you want it? Version here is the same as on that cd though-pm if you want it. Got no use for it anymore
happy to find this tonight...my all time fav FLA track, thanks!
