Dont belive me look at the ending again. after Lorelai speaks with him and the screen lowers look at Asch's hand (Closely). TOTA's ultimate badass lives. it just took them a while to rematerialize or perhaps he was absorbed by luke who knows
asch was my favorite character, i was so sad when he died. But in a sense he does come back to life at the end when Luke and Asch's body fuse together.

In the cutscene, he got two swords in the front and one in the back while in the animated section, it's only one in the front and two in the back. Someone didn't do his job there...
This is a really bad title and you should change it. I'm lucky I didn't find this before seeing the scene. But... THAT WAS HILARIOUS ZOMG WHAT AWFUL SOUND EFFECTS
