  • Everyone shut up. The piano may be out of tune, but it adds to the haunting of the song. As does the irregularity in the rythm. It may not be how you are used to hearing it, but I love this.

  • Is it just me that likes it when the piano is out of tune? It reminds me of the notebook...which was where I first heard this song.

  • Youch!

Put out the $100 to get that piano tuned!

  • lool soo slow...dude...bad

  • @Strakos0 its better slow than played in "allegro"

  • need to tune the piano, the rythm is too irregular, is difficult to listen

  • @rubanetti well I like this rhythm, I was looking for interpretation like this :)

  • el piano se ve k es malo y no muy afinado, suena bastante mal

  • That's good Suzie. You can go outside and ride your bike now.

  • The tune of the piano is classic, wonderfully played. BRAVO!

  • i wish the sound quality was better because this is just the speed i was looking for. thanks for posting ♥

  • Horrible piano.

  • I think this is pretty cool. I can't play piano, but I think the slow tempo and out of tune key gives it a mood. I know its probably meant to be faster and in a different key, but in this form, it s a unique piece

  • It's supposed to be played this slow, and what doyou mean by "a different key"?

  • I meant that it's probably meant to be played in a higher octave. I'm not very good when it comes to piano talk, so my vocabulary gets mixed up. What i was trying to say, was that i liked it this way, when everyone else thought it would sound better at a faster pace. It's good to know it's meant to be this slow, though.

  • ohh I see :)

  • this is the right key

  • I believe it's a half step flat.

  • Sounds to me like you're thinking of the piece in terms of each individual beat. Think in terms of measures which in turn are to be stringed together into phrases.

  • is it just me that thinks that the out of tune piano sort of adds to the haunting quality of this prelude? i think it kind of fits the mood of the song . great job!!

  • Like in The Notebook!

  • Wow very beautiful!

I play that prelude too but I didn't finish it.

  • the piano is out of tune.......which is fixable.

be sure the right hand melody "sings" over the left hand......pick up the tempo a bit. it's in cut time, so think of every measure as two big counts.

  • sto frocio

aggiustati il piano và ke è mejo

  • the playing is great just out of tune the piano but that can be fixed

  • Just pracrice a little bit more and you will do fine. What lvl r u in piano?

  • Thank you for posting. I enjoyed it. I wish I could play so well. Beautiful melody.

  • that was terrible. sorrry

  • My goodness...that piano is badly out of tune!

This piece should be dripping with expression. You need to free up the tempo, and really let those phrases rise and fall- this Chopin prelude is a textbook example of music from the Romantic period. It's got to fit the style. It'll get there eventually though- since it's been awhile since this video was posted, maybe it's there now.

  • I think that this song has potential

Next time make sure you play the first note stronger and then go diminuendo as long as u continue the song. This is a very slow song and in order to ace it you gotta play all the "f" and the "ppp"'s .Your technical skills are good but the piece has the same sound..its sounds dull

  • Good job. I'm just leaning how to play this

  • this piano is meant to be like that. personally i really dont like the sound of it but thats the way Yamaha Made it

. if you want very good sound on piano buy a Kawai. they'e not too expensive but very good and yamaha doesnt make good pianos

  • omg this piano just needs tuning

  • i think its a little bit too slow

  • me too

  • Tune this instrument!!!!! Yikes!!

  • Sorry about that.... I'll rerecord it on my digital when I get a chance

  • i love this i heard it on the notebook and i've always wondered how to play it

  • I prefer this a little faster throughout, and with a steadier rhythm. You do a good job with the legato though. And nice finish!

  • yah i play it a little faster but it was really good!!!

  • This is not supposed to have a steady rythem

  • SNOBBY DOUCHEY KNOWITALL MUSIC NERDS. STOP TELLING PEOPLE HOW TO PLAY. they dont pay you for lessons.

  • I laughed when I read that :)
