@nvalentijn But that's what happens with sharks. She was just floating there, so the sharks would have just thought she was driftwood or something. The MOST they would have done was graze against her to see if she was a seal. Though the skin of the shark would cut her leg open...

yes, that would happen. sharks eyesight is bad. if a shark is in the water with you tuck your legs in and stay still.. they hone in on vibrations that you make when kicking and thrashing with fear.
