  • was this theshow on Night Flight on the USA Network?

  • to ghpbmx.....thats ronnie 10-10 on guitar on the left...

  • Saw them hundreds of times at the 11th Frame Lounge. Martinsburg,WV. Also

Shiley Acres. Back in the '70s when they were the Shooze, The Generators and

The Baltimore Cocks. Smoked a lot of pot with Ronnie, aka tenten.Damn good

    times.

  • yeah, yeah, yeah video- who remembers the 11th Frame Lounge?

  • @hotbluechips remember em well, along with facedancer, the snowmen, and knight rider, they were called the shooze when they played at the 11th frame lounge

  • yeah, yeah, yeah video

  • I remember when they played at the Sandbar in Pasadena, MD. They were called The Shooze back then & played AC/DC better than AC/DC did.

  • Kix is still playing. Search for shows in MD under both the name Kix and Funny Money.

  • Remember the Mountainview near Hagerstown, and Seagull Inn in Essex, MD - and Hammerjacks in Baltimore? Kix rocked these clubs!

  • the boys from Kix were Hagerstown boys...Damn I would love to see them together again

  • Anybody remember the SeaGull Inn. Any vids from there

  • @getabikini - I remember the Seagull Inn in Essex!

  • @opossumtrax9 How about The Rabbit's Foot in Frederick, MD?

  • @getabikini Can't be...too obscure and too early...Doc and Max didn't have any video did they? Good times...two great owners..and one great bar..one my old man used to own in the early 70s.

  • @getabikini Hell Yea,no vids,seen KIX, Facedancer,DC Star

  • steve was little fat but look so good =P now is tin

  • used to see them every summer at shiley acres inwood, wva

shiley acres was quite the party

  • I used to get into Sandbar in Pasadena with a fake I.D. to go see Kix-- and then later at Hammerjacks. They were full of more energy than anyplace could hold, especially, of course, Steve Whiteman. Seeing this video is incredible-- and I want SO much to be in that place and time again. What a blast. So glad these guys are playing together again. Bet they are still amazing.

  • Know what u mean. Cant count the number of nights at the rootn tootn Hammerjacks!!!! great shows everytime!!!

  • LOL! Oh good old Hammerjacks! I used to work at 98 Rock and later at Thunderdome...also DJ'd for 3 years at the Brass Rail in Pasadena! When I started at 98 Rock in Promotions...I lived at AL Gators!!! Of course, I also went to Sandbar/Network which it was before AL Gators and then later Daytona's. Anyway, just wanted to tell you I was in San Diego Friday night (May 8th, 2009) and saw Kix again! They are still UNBELIEVABLE!!! Still recovering!!! LOL!

  • Hi Radio. I moved away shortly after it was no longer Sandbar/Network, I think. I was back about 10 years ago to see Cinderella and Sebastian Bach. FREAKY to be there again after so long. I LIVE in SD and really should NOT have missed the Kix show!!!!!!!!!!!! Very cool that you checked them out and that they're still amazing. SUCH great memories. BTW, 90 Rock... hadn't thought of it in years. The Ultimate Coolness. =)

  • my mom used to see them all the time. my frined takes lessons from the guitarist

  • I saw them in Salisbury, MD at Civic Center in the 80s. I forget who they opened for. They used umbrellas for Cold Shower.

  • They opened for RATT, and Britny Fox was first that tour, they took turns until there was a clear choice. Guess who won? the boys from Hagestown!!!!

  • steve was from piedmont, wv

  • should have been hugh! Never heard the cheap trick in this one until now. Then the break down is pure old school aerosmith draw the line. Kix was so under rated.

  • Fantastic band and so underrated. Saw them in Hagerstown MD. They interact with the audience. Just love 'em!

  • Hammerjacks was so cool - used to go see kix there all the time - real cool and they pretty muched owned the place

  • No kidding. They were Hammerjacks!!

  • I wondered why he left and returned, what was 10/10 in jail for?

  • this song is yeah yeah yeah

  • What is the name of this song?

I just stumbled across this and it's really good.

  • Great vid! thanks

  • I saw this Hot Spots Kix show back in 83-ish? First time I ever heard of them. Talk about ahead of there time. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Brad Divens with them at this show or was that 10/10? Post more of this show someone!!!!

  • Great video , This is a band i grew up with from the days they where the shoes , Generators , back at the Seagull inn , Sandbar, Hammerjacks , The country Club , Jrs , you know all the baltimore clubs hon !!!

  • damn man i know about the sandbar and Hammerjacks. Hammerjacks was right by ravens stadium, whyd they close it?

  • Actually, I think Ravens Stadium sits pretty much right where hammerjacks did. They had to tear it down to build the stadium.

It moved down by Presidents St./beginning of I-83 for a while and became a hip-hop club, but apparently went under again, as there's some club called "Bourbon Street" there now.

  • "It's 3 o'clock in Baltimore now, for our folks in Essex the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3..."

  • It's the Seagull Inn in Essex (Now the Riverwatch).

  • It was Seagull Inn in Essex, which is now the Riverwatch Restaurant.

  • It's from july,1983 at THE SEA INN essex maryland ner baltimore shown sept. 1983 on USA HOTSPOTS. a USA NETWORK program .

  • i seen early videos of axl and he was similar to Kix singer

  • Awesome tune, thanks for putting it up. Now I`m off to drink Natty Bohs, get some subs from Cap`n Harveys and punch somebody in the face.

  • hammer jackssssssssssssssssssss

  • I saw kix a lot back in the day.. With the right marketing and timing this band would have been HUGE! A live video of Atomic bombs would have done it.. Kix was not a cheesy hair band. Poisen stole their style and then preceding to F up the record industry.. Kix was and is simply an amazing band... Now someone please go kick the guys ass that produced those cheesy videos... Can you say "Billy Squire"

  • When is this from, looks early.

  • 1983 Its from a tv show

  • This Footage ROCKS Thanks For Sharing!!!!!!!

  • nice post
