Man, Luthor/Joker characterization is perfect. Lex has that pure hatred for Superman, the one person who reminds him just how far from perfection he is. The Joker, despite how much Batman annoys him, is still upset when Luthor tries to insult by calling him a "mere mortal". Bats/Joker have such a crazy love/hate relationship.
