I really think that it's a good agency and they stand out more because they're adoptive moms as well. I was just a little skeptical at first about the upfront price. I really do love that you ca be with your child in less than a year, though!!! I was recently accepted into everlasting adoptions and I just wanted to know if it's all true. I think they said you have to pay the $5,000 upfront, but I heard that if an agency asks for all the money right away then they're trying to scam you.

@kharris160 I remember being nervous when I was looking for an agency as well. It's a bunch of money and it is your family. But Carol is very much a real genuine person. She worked very hard to help us through the process and to help find our birthmom. I found our homestudy agency myself. She gave me some numbers and contacts for a lawyer in the state my daughter was born. I suggest calling all of them and maybe even looking for some yourself. There was a difference of $5000 between them.

@kharris160 That had nothing to do with Carol, just the difference in types of lawyer. Most of the communication with the birthmom was just me and her talking or emailing. Except when I got nervous or weird about something, then Carol would talk to her for me. I loved the fact that the people that work there have adopted. I felt understood. Anyway I hope I helped you feel a little better. She didn't scam us and we are actually getting all set to adopt through them again.
