i am from Brazil and i love Stryper to death,Michael is the best singer, songwriter, musician on this planet IMO,but i know that it was Oz who wrote this song, amazinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg, long live Stryperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Now I know he did the scream live when I saw them live in Atlanta in, I think i was, '03. But... is the scream at 3:09 pre-recorded? The mix completely changes and, with the way he had the mic close to his mouth, that should have been banging. Was that a pre-recorded scream??
All I know is that it wasn't in Atlanta. What a moment.
Their next album.. Against The Law.. was totally taken out of context by the critics.. who apparently never took the time to listen to that particular song on the album which it was named after. Basically, there were tired of trying to live up to the 'laws' PEOPLE expect them to live by.. you know.. the stupid rules some Christians impose on believers. It's amazing how many Christians didn't get that simple message.
Ive always hated this show and its a shame its one of the only from that era. Roberts drumming is horrible thru all of it, he mustve had an off night. and plus The high note at the end is VERY obviously sampled cuz it sounds exactly like the cd, plus its alot quieter than the rest of his singing sooo yeah. They rock live for sure, But not here.
God, they did this for you.. truly.. forgive them for their short-comings. None of us are perfect. The good they did far outweighed the evils that took them over during their next tour and album. Stryper rocks for the One who Is the Rock!

This song shows the great song writing talent of Oz Fox, and not just his great guitar talent.

Go Oz! Would love to see some video of the next tour when Oz fronted Stryper after Michael left.
