She is sending the message that Hollywood uses women and forces women to take on that "object" role. Notice the images of her standing in the street with her clothes on, and not able to find someone to "pick her up." That is a metaphor. Earlier in her career, she had similar images in the Sex book, of herself completely naked, walking in the street. She's basically saying that in Hollywood you have to sell yourself out. The whole song is an attack on Hollywood culture.
