  • I was diagnosed in elementary or middle school. havent had problems of any sort for 4+ years. No im not lying. I found an organic intestinal/bowel cleanse and then started eating real/natural/organic food more often. My body started healing itself. Its the type of food we are sold in the big grocery stores. You need to investigate what you are puting into your body. A doctor wont tell you the truth, they dont know it. You dont need to spend money on meds or surgery. Good luck to everyone with UC

  • My son was diagnosed at 17 and we went on the SCD diet and within 6 months he was able to eat whatever he wanted. It's not easy. but it works.... it really does.

  • i was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when i was 21 Ive been hospitalized more then i like, almost died from symptoms and stupid ass intern doctors.you have to be very strong your going to go through a lot of bull crap they dont really know shit about Ulcerative Colitis but it can turn into cancer.the cure for Ulcerative Colitis is a colostomy.its best to get one to rest your colon for a while.

  • my large colon was removed because i was stubborn and thought i was to young to be walking around with a bag on my stomach, i was wrong, I have a iliostomy i had to get my colon removed know im 36 had it for 3 years.

  • wow you must have had it really bad, most people are nowhere near needing the colostomy pouch. but i hear what your saying i thought to myself what if i need the pouch and yeah would have to drop my stubborness.

  • i know how ya feel bro ive had my uc since i was 5 been hospitalized 2-3 times for over a month each time right now im having a bit of a flare up and got a colonoscopy tommorow morning well good luck and get better!
