@RichConrad1 yes it seemed to, but now it is hard to wean him off of it b/c it virtually depletes all acid, so now he cant do that on his own. but it was worth it
My son is 8 months and was diagnosed with SS at 8 weeks. He looked very similar to this and he has been on infant gaviscon since then which has stopped the episodes. He still throws his head back sometimes but it doesn't seem to bother him like it used to. The doctors say he will completely grow out of it.
yes this is exactly how my baby is and our ped just told me today it was sandifers, he is on prevacid for acid reflux but that doesnt take away the 'mechanics' of spitting up. its so sad how he never seems comfortable and i was told there is really nothing you can do...hopefully he grows out of it!
